After alot of thought, I've finally decided on what type of Nuker I want to make. But now I need help with just a few things before I can be officially on my way.
First, the imbue abilities. Between Fire, Cold, and Lightning they all boost damage but have different effects. I'm going to be using all three masteries, but I'm not sure if it's necessary to use all three, any thoughts on if I should take all three or only one would be greatly appreciated.
Looking more closely at Cold Mastery, I'm considering the following series:
Frost Guard Series
Cold Wave Series (first book)
Frost Nova Series (first & third book)
Snow Storm Series (clueless how much)
Cold Armor Series
I know its Cold Mastery's damage output is low, but I'm more interested in its ability to provide defense throughts passive and active buffs, as well as its ability to slow or freeze enemies.
Lastly, in Force Mastery, can someome tell me how the Force Cure series works? If its supposed to remove status ailments I don't see the point in multiple books, or is it that each book is for a different ailment?
Well, that's it for questions. Just keep in mind I'm a silly crazy person just looking for some fun with a probably unusual nuker only interested in PvE (or PvM if you call it that). See you in the game~

Take a look at all 3 books here: http://sro.mmosite.com/database/skills/forcepower.shtml it tells what status effect is reduced and by how much. As a nuker, the only time you should ever need to freeze anything, is if you are taking on a giant. Other than that, everything your level and below should fall with your nukes before you get hit. Even if you do manage to freeze, they still will get in one hit or so on you, to which you could just have shouted and cast one more fire to finish it off. So, I think it'd be kinda useless.
If you don't want to take hits, then maybe look into fire wall? Here's what I think about it so far: http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=10868 If you need a video example of it in action, I have one I can upload too.

I've seen Ice Wall in action and it'd be interesting to see Fire Wall in action if you could upload it.
Edit: I must be a sped. I did a search for all posts by fant0m and found no guide.

Here's the link to fant0m's guide:

Read RaiKiRii's guide too, its pretty good:

Man, i think you should level in ice, only the passive, the buff and the ice nuke (leave book 1 on level 1 just to get book 2, which is the cool ice rain)
The walls are "completely" useless, and fire wall is the same as ice, but it's better against magical damage (ice is good against phy damage).
If the walls had instant cast maybe they would be good. As a nuker, mobility is very important, and with a wall you cant move, so its a bad idea for a nuker. And it has no def, so it can go down in one hit...
I have only level 1 of book 1, so i don't know about it on higher levels...
If you wanna go all 3 elements, be prepared to farm a lot. I regret not farming at 16, i'm currently at 36 and simply there is not enough sp to keep all elements...
If i were you, i would farm one bilion SPs at lvl 16... ><

Well I went a little stir crazy trying to SP farm, but I'll take another shot at level 20 and my mastery gap will be 8 by then. I can also take up the Cursed Heart quest and start saving up to delevel this bow.
Right now, I'm absolutely sure I want to use Fire, Lightning, and Force (hate me if you must, but I love to heal). I'm a healer at heart, but I like to get my fair share in and I like that this game can let me do that with the different magic masteries. But now I'm stuck between Cold and Hekusal.
To be quite honest, I have no real intention to melee, but I hear the passive is good since it boosts HP so I was going to level it to 60 for the +1000 or so HP. On the other hand, I'd be using 60 mastery levels just to boost my HP, when if I took cold, I could make use of its buff and slowing abilities.
Some people say go for Cold and that it's good, and then I click the next page and see people say it sucks, and well, Hekusal is moot to me since I don't really want to melee. ^^; But we'll see, I'll think of something. Perhaps I'll just be a very unique build among the heroes of Silk Road.

Sure, here's an unedited video I had capured at the time ~2mb (DivX)
http://www.drewbenton.net/SRO/firewall.avi
As you can see, I took 4-5 hits and it did it's job (watch the MP bar go down rather than HP).

Well, I know what I'm doing now (finally) just need a few things cleared up with the nukes if you all would be so kind~
Imbues: Lightning has splash damage which is bad I think, and Ice has low damage output, which leaves Fire. I'm assuming I should just stick with the Fire Imbue as it has the highest damage and ignore the other two.
Flame Wave Series: I've heard to only take level 1 of the first book and max the others. Is the general consensus, or would maxing the first book be a good idea?
Lion Shout Series: Some say it's good, some bad. Not sure if I should put points into this, and if so how many?
Thunderbolt Force Series: The way their damages scale up, they seem to be the continuation of one book if that makes any sense. I've heard a few people say just take level 1 of the first book to open the second and max it, I think that's what but I'm not quite sure.
I'm taking a few Cold Nukes but only for their slowing so I think I can figure those out for myself. Again, I appreciate any feedback that comes my way.

I've read all the guides here already, looking for opinions from the people, not the guide.
