okay, now all of you out there think your smart saying that pure int bows are useless. and arent strong in pvp. well you all are very wrong. im a lv 42 pur int bow lightning and you guys know what? i easily killed a lv 46 pure str glavie fire and lightning. i did about 1.2-1.7k every time on him and i killed him easily with grass walk phantom.

You killed one person and think that's enough to refute a topic? We don't even know your gear, how long you've been playing, the other person's gear, if the other person was a noob, or any skill levels.

Sorry, but if you want to prove a point, you really need a bit more to show. So, how about telling us a bit more?

There is a level 42 in a guild I am in on one of the many characters I have. It's hard to believe, but they know nothing about the game, are constanly asking "easy" questions, and have little understanding of the game as a whole. That's why I ask, I'm not being funny.

If someone's taking the time to share success on a build a lot of people deem "sucky", then yes it does matter. I know I'd personally love to hear about it. At face value though, he has shared nothing of "importance" with us. For all we know he could be using a sosun + 5 bow. Of course we all know he isn't but get my point?

I'd still like to know about your weapon, if the other people got hits on you, etc... Share some stuff will ya! :)

he's just trying to enlightened the point tht a int bow shouldn't be shoot down becoz its a 'sucky build'

the "OMFG u r a int bow/hybrid.. haha weak/noob" phrase is getting old

IMO there's no such thing as 'weak/strong' build as long as u know wat u're building and it suits ur style of play

no builds last forever anyway

i stood up because i used the grass walk phantom, which teleported away from him then berserker finished him off.

No, i didnt activate berserker, all i did was activate my grass walk flow at the beginning of battle and whenever i wanted to use strong bow i would use grass walk phantom to teleport a few feet away then activate it.

Pearl. Keep playing that build. I guarantee you'll find that it's uber. Heck, tell all your friends to play it. [/sarcasm]

The only thing you need to do to realize pure int bow sucks is to use your brain, honestly.

Low damage weap + low damage skill + low defense equip = low effort at pvp.

What server are you on? If on Xian, I would like to pvp you. I'm only level 35.

My guild mate was pure int bow and he said it was the worst mistake ever.

My gaming buddy (we've been playing the same games for 9 years) and I made bow characters simultanously. I was pure strength, he, pure(ish) int. At level 42 we did alot of pvp. He killed me once in about 20 fights, when I ran out of potions. He used lightning, I used cold. He died regardless of whether or not I froze him. Cold is the weakest of all elements when it comes to damage.

I'm sorry but and int/bow build is not viable because:
A bow's magic damage is less than a spear's.
A bow does not provide the defense or blocking of a shield.
A bow's attack rating is lower than any other weapon.
Spear/glaive passive gives a big HP bonus.

If you do not use the strengths (forgive the pun) of a bow, which is the criticals (based on physical damage and strength), you not fare well unless your opponent lacks skill in combat or is out of potions.

However, if you like using your build keep doing so. Ignore what others (including myself say) and have fun.
