So here I am again with some odd questions.

I'm playing an int bow on csro. My planned build was 110 pach/cold/light, but I wonder, wouldn't fire be better than light? I'm planning this char mostly for unique hunting and pve, and since it's csro, I won't pvp much.

So, what would you say guys? I'm aiming for the highest dmg possible, and since it's int, cold is a must.

Edit: typo in the topic lolz

If it's not for pvp you can do like 110 Pach/Fire with a 90/20 or 80/30 or 70/40 Light/Ice combi. It will also reduce the sp cost.

if u just PVE/unique/etc u could go like 60cold/40 light 100 fire 100 pach cause the light got that buff that gives u mag dmg % and at lv 40 it is around 10% I think,OR you could just go fire/cold/pach,it is always a good choice.

What about 76/34 cold/light combo? Heard it's good for hybrids, and since you suggest to mix cold and light, how would that combo work?

K, so let's say that I went fire. Should I max all the nukes (grind and unique-wise ofc), or maybe I should not waste my sp on them? Same question goes for light. Should I spend my SP on nukes and lions or not? I'm certain about adding the AoE ice nukes.

The three main books (strong bow, anti devil, explosion) are enough to satisfy any bower's needs. But that moveset lacks aoe skills so if I were you, I would take the 330% nuke (or/and 315% nuke), definately not all of them. I believe taking the 315% (fast cooldown) would give you the chance to attack without using the lowest hitting skill (anti devil). Moveset: strongbow-> hellfire-> explosion-> hellfire. All 3 fire nukes to 110 would eat over half a million sp. xD
Lightning nukes suck against uniques because you need to go so close. Shouts are pretty useless against your own lvl mobs, perfect for doing taxis on low mobs like ongs tho.

this one seems the most sp friendly and damage wielding build next to 60/50

So I see that light/cold is doing well on higher lvls...

Now, let's look at it from the other side. Let's say that I'm not going to use any nukes, except of the ice aoe nuke. Only pacheon skills. Which one would be better now? Most of my dmg would go from imbue now I guess, and since light has the mag attack increase buff, combined with shitload of attack rating that pacheon tree provides, wouldn't that give higher dmg output than fire? I might be wrong, that's just my guess.

Most damage --> fire
Mag defense increase --> fire
imune --> fire
Better nukes --> fire
Firewall --> fire

any questions? :D

Do I really need those THAT much in pve? xD Immunity is useful, but most of the time mobs won't get close enough to hit me (ahh the som bows from CIMO shop), and set will give me enough magical def (CIMO shop again, som sets FTW). Moving on, there isn't that many magical mobs to make a good use of firewall in pve. Nukes, i barely use them. So, fire only gives me a little bit stronger imbue, and phy dmg buff. I'm not dealing THAT much phy dmg to need it so badly, and stronger imbue could be replaced with the light imbue and mag attack buff ( or maybe i'm wrong?)

On the other side, fire still deals a bit more damage than light, but lacks speed and phantom.

I feel a little dizzy about that, i need some pure numbers and statistics i guess ._.

Most damage --> fire yup
Mag defense increase --> fire not so grave with a good set
imune --> fire depends on the monster's effects, with light you can systematically choose monsters with lame effects (like elctr.)
Better nukes --> fire for 1 hits and very close range fights yes
Firewall --> fire uh.. running is safer than a wall

if you have the time or/and a friend to help you, get 2 chars on swsro or sswc and get pwrlvled till 9d-10d to check the damage difference.
