Okay, so here's the dealio, I'm coming back to isro to play casually, *like 2ish hours a day, maybe*. My problem is that I don't know which character/build I want to go with.

The options are:

1. My main, and highest level, 67 wiz/bard. I love being a wizard and bard in parties, only there's not very many parties at my level. And I hate having bard as a subclass when it comes to pvp. I hate being 1 shotted all the time by practically anyone. I also hate how I have to kind of hit and run in order to live. I realize that wizards are squishy, but I feel like if I had cleric I'd be a much better pvper. And so I'm contemplating delvling bard from 60 and raising cleric. *Side note - I have 20k sp on this char. Wiz is at 65, bard at 60*

2. Make a lock/cleric. I've never made one and I hear their loads of fun to grind with, and since you'll spend 99.99% of your time on sro grinding, might as well have fun with it, right? Only downside is massive sp needed. Now, I could pfarm the lock *with my main*. Possibly, assuming I can get my lap top to work. Which is doubtful.

3. Make a rogue/cleric. Pvp beasts and decent grinders. I like the idea of these a lot. But the massive sp requirement is still there. Which is a huge negative. Also, I would be that helpful in parties. *assuming I ever found any...>_>*

So yeah, thoughts? I don't really relish in the idea of starting from scratch. But I'm not satisfied with my current character. Having to run away from giants is annoying.

Seeing how you don't really want to start from scratch I would go with the 67 char and reskill it. If you can and want put some silk into it for reskill potions and get a nice start. Then do the rest with hearts.

Just one sidenote: you will still get 1shotted probably if you wear your staff, you need better gear to tank more, not a different subclass =p (wiz wise ofcourse, if you switch to cleric mode you can tank alot more ofcourse). Other reason to switch is absolute dmg and offering :] I just love offering.

I'm thinking I'd go LA. Will I have to much trouble dealing with mp consumption?

And yeah, I'm working on the gear. IT's hard to find female 8d stuff though. -_-

You should be fine since the bigger nukes got longer cooldowns. Besides, 80% of the wizards wear LA =p

This is almost the exact position I was in a few weeks back. My wizard is level 69 with bard subclass. Pathetic PVP wise, not super well geared, but not terrible either. Pretty poor PvE as well, he dies a fair bit. Wizards, I find, are the most boring class to play, especially solo. Remembering that Euros function best in parties, this is unsurprising, yet other class combinations do perform better. Honestly, I'd start another character (in fact I did). I went the powerfarming with multiple computers route and its working out pretty well. I'm glad I made my wizard, because now I can farm up a decent amount of SP in a pretty short time on any character I wish. This has enabled me to find the build I like best to finally level up seriously. Yes, this is time consuming but its worth finding a build you like, because if you're serious you're going to spending a lot of time with it. Good luck deciding what you want to do, personally I'd go Warlock or Rogue with Cleric. They are excellent builds and dominate when played well.
