I'm currently farming an int euro and it has about 700k sp. Debating between warlock and wiz. The sub will be cleric regardless. I was planning on warlock first, but i saw they were so weak against holy word. My lv 70 warrior owned an FF 77 warlock w/o bless/skin. However, I had an unfarmed wiz before and they can be boring as hell.
Warlocks aren't THAT weak against Holy Word. You can still get a few diseases through and nuke them to death (with stun interrupts). Or stun > offering > quick heal just in case. =P

Lock = chinese raper. And with all those str bows and int spears, there's quite a few chins around these days.
Locks would be more fun soloing too. And easier.
Although, I love a wiz/cleric, when played by a pro, they can rape so many faces.
Tough choice.

The main point is, what are you focusing on? Grind? Uniques? Job/group pvp? Solo pvp?
Wizards do great in parties and solo on lower uniques. Solo pvp is alot harder to do well in but with cleric sub and Light Armor you have a decent shot if you know how to play.
Warlock is fun to grind with, is also great in parties, does a bit less at uniques though (solo on lower should be do-able if you can tank the spawns). In a party you are often the debuffer, or you can switch to cleric and be a buffer ofcourse. In pvp they do great, like others said warlocks rape Chinese if they aren't super great at pvping. Against a (sub) cleric char or a party with holy spell it will be alot harder. You will have to rely on the stuns alot more and DoT's.
I think warlock/cleric will be a fun build for you, but you will need ALOT more sp than that 700k. Get a good set and you will do fine in party/solo pvp/grind. People often need a cleric and if they are smarter than the average sro player you can be wanted as a warlock too in grind parties.

Thanks for the responses. Still have a few questions though: 1. What can still get through holyword? During all my pvps againstwarlock all i've seen is stun and even then its seems to be less than 50%, he was more level too. Didn't see a single bleed, does that go through anymore? 2.Will the 700k be enough till i get to temple farming (if i go warlock/cleric)? 3.Considering my server has a shitload of warrior/cleric, whats a good strategy for fighting them with warlock. 4.Also I'll mostly likely be soloing due to lack of parties (until alteast 80ish), so should i get LA for survivability?

2. Go to nivlam (now part of rev6) and calculate the SP you need to be fully farmed at level 105. That's your goal, unless you don't mind being underfarmed.
3. There are a lot of videos on youtube with high-level PvP. At least on iSRO, the most powerful characters in PvP (in my opinion) are Warrior/Cleric and Warlock/Cleric. Warrior with 2H skills has deadly crits, while warlock has debuffs. For me, I decided to play a warrior because I almost always play an INT-style char in MMOs. I figured I should learn how to play STR-type chars a bit better.
4. Yes. LA is what makes Warlock/Cleric such a PvP beast.

Bleed used to go through but that has been removed with like 110 cap or before that with 100 cap even. 2.Will the 700k be enough till i get to temple farming (if i go warlock/cleric)? Not by a long shot. If you want to be 105 ffed I'd say 2-2.5mil sp. Ofcourse it depends on how much skills you want to max out. 3.Considering my server has a shitload of warrior/cleric, whats a good strategy for fighting them with warlock. Stun -> Offering. Lol there is no real strategy against a good warrior/cleric. People who can't tank the dmg die, people who can tank their dmg make it a potfight till either they crit 3/4/5 times in a row while he has his 2h out or the warrior double crits on his daredevil. 4.Also I'll mostly likely be soloing due to lack of parties (until alteast 80ish), so should i get LA for survivability? I would go LA yeah. Cleric gives a nice bonus when you wear LA (and use cleric rod/shield ofc).

combine them and you got a win build
ONT: i think warlock is a lot more fun, i mean, soloing with wiz= Find mob, Click mob, Press 1, collect drops, and repeat....

Go warlock. Wizzes are too over used.
Especially if you're farming a char. Seeing as how the only reason loads of people don't have locks is due to the massive sp requirement.
add the prejudice about a huge damage difference betwen warlock and wiz and it's 100% true.... most people underestimate warlock potential because it is hard to add up their overall damage and the damage they induce with debuffs.

So you were thinking about wiz bcoz your warrior could beat a warlock? I assure you that it could beat a wizard even faster and with a lot less effort.
