Yes hi, I just have a simple question for my pure int bow character. Even though I am a full int bow user, which is a ranged weapon, should I still get lion shout mini nukes and/or nukes? Please and thanks

No point in getting lion shout, you can get light nukes for aoe (and ofc dmg) but they aren't really needed since you already have strong-enough bow skills.

Take the nukes for sure since you're an int. Shouts are great finishers so if you have the sp to spare I would look into getting them too. If you are low on sp it's not that of a waste to ignore them.

At 80/90 cap I had a pure int bow and I had got the Lion shouts, don't waste your SP on them as when I did have them I never used them, I ended up curst hearting them and getting ice imbue.

Well then thank you. I guess they are not needed for me.

I would still take them if you have the sp. I used them when I had a light build and it's a great finisher if you just lack the dmg of 1hitting a mob.

I do not get why bow needs either? they have much more range than light nukes and almost the same dmg with skills and that quickshot+ multi arrow skills can replace the shouts(i forgot the skill names sorry)

Using arrow combo as a finisher is just a waste of arrows. I'd say nukes are still the main point of your damage but if you think you can do without them then go for it =p you can always take them later if you feel the need.

now that trade runs r dead, lion shouts are no longer needed, its basically a pve skill, every light int hunter should have maxed their shouts as shouts can one hit blue mobs beating on ur transport saving mana pots, .

Full int bow....That build has always peaked my curiosity but I never had the guts to make one. Don't want to waste the immense time required to carry any build to the cap and then not liking it's performance. A build such as pure int bow would obviously be a support class only. Can't get caught 1 vs 1. Unless another int.

Lion Shouts are useless but you should definitely get the nukes. It helps a lot when to survive when you are getting attacked by multiple mobs, Also lightning nukes have better damage than any of your bow skills but slow casting and short range, its still very useful in pve.

Now that i think about it, lion shout would be really useful when you are grinding, when the monster annoyingly has like 10hp left after using two skills lols

aishsharma wrote: Hey anybody knows any good vids showing pure int bow in group pvp? like ctf or BA or something? I can't seem find anything on youtube I have a 91 hybrid int bow (was 90% -> 85%) ... haven't played it in maybe a year, now ...lol Though, I haven't BA'd on it, can just say this: It did alright in ctf, for the most part was just KB the melee chars off teammates and kill the fragile ones on the other team. Wizards and Nukers weren't really a problem. However, the str chars were another story. All the Glaivers I came across weren't all that good, so they weren't as troublesome. Warriors (cleric / warlock) & Rogues (cleric) gave me the most problems, at least the ones that knew what they were doing. I could kill the rogues if I stunned them while they had DD / CE on, but that rarely happened w/ the competent players. For the warriors /clerics, it was just phantom / kb to buy time for my team to deal with them. Bladers, were just annoying... couldn't quite kill them and they couldn't kill me (w/o som /sun) even when I was out of snow shield

Use arrow combos instead of lion shout and save SP.

Im 64 now thanks to apan and i got all the lion shouts. It works better than the arrow combos. and you dont need arrows at all to use them. Well the arrow combos deam more dmg but they are not as fast as the shouts.

Well, you can add lion shouts. But they can only kill mobs with 10% HP faster and with high lv imbues they will last like 7s, so just launch one arrow. If you don't have a lot of SP, try not to take this skill.
