Yes.

Deleveling is mostly done by farmers. The ratio of sp you’re getting at lvl 16 is higher then any other level. (till 70, but most people don’t reach that lvl in 3 days..). So when they level to 17, they’ll die over and over again till 16, and continue they’re farming.

Priam.

We're just addicted to dying lots of times LOL! :D joking aside... it's just easier to farm at lower levels :) and the extra sp that we've farm at those levels will be very beneficial when we start leveling up :)

Yes. That's why people take of all they're clothes and valuables, and put them in they're storage.

When you get killed by a monster, you only have a chance of dropping items in your inventory, not your eq or your weapon.

So i guess you can get killed by a monster and not worry about dropping your som, or your eq;s.

But if youget PK'ed, thats another story :)

The ways you can drop your item is by
1. Murder status and getting killed by monster or player
2. Losing a Level

Ppl DE-Level to:
1. SP FARM AT LVL 16
2. By some chance you see someone asking for res and killing themself chances are they got murder status and wants to get rid of it.

Question:
What does PK-Level 7 mean? lol it wont go away :x

PK = Player kill = offender/murder.

Grind allot, eventually it will go away.

Grind alot or get killed alot to get rid of your murder status, the higher lvl the monster the more points you lose per kill but yeah that's pretty dangerous unless it's in a secluded area.

And as for the delvling to sp farm some more and item dropping thing, I always delvled with my equip on, not a thing I equipped was ever dropped, only my poor arrows in my inventory.

But dropping items is possible. So it's not smart to wear/have them. Best to fiend a nice quite spot and grind of your murderer status, pretty good chance no-one will find you.

Yeah it's possible while you're a murderer, I just said if you were just delvling to sp farm, you don't really drop what you're equipped with and if you have a monkey just dump your items in there.

I wonder if there is a 100% reliable source of whether or not things drop that are equipped. I delvled from 17-16 twice sofar, and only the arrows (that i stacked in stacks of 1 to fill my inv) had ever droppeed. This time around, however, I'll be delvling from 19 due to a sexy SoM+1 str 2 coronet I bought for 100k. I'm less worried about someone yoinking my equip if I drop it, and more worried about having it removed from me after I've already Delvled to a level well lower than its requirements.

As long as you're not a murderer and you've equipped the items you won't drop the item/s when you delevel. :)

I've experienced losing 20 return scrolls (for the first time, usually loose arrows since I leave them in inventory) when I deleveled (17 to 16 - don't have enough free space in storage), basically lost an item in my inventory [not equipped] (arrows) whenever I get killed (thrice in a row) LOL! :P

Last time I deleveled from 18 to 16, placed my items (pots, scrolls, all non-equipped item) in my storage but left my protector on (curious if I'll drop any) well, I didn't drop anything this time LOL! :D Although it took me 2 hours to delevel *sniff* since I don't have anyone who will res me :D

Again, I just want to make it clear you CAN DROP EQUIPPED weapons/gear when you die.

It happened to someone I talked to...

Nothing against you but that's a 3rd hand account / experience... I've experienced it first-hand... getting killed over and over and over... deleveled from 14 to 13, 15 to 13, 17 to 16 and 18 to 16 some of them a couple of times, twice or thrice and the only time I ever dropped an item is when I don't have them equipped.

I can only give an accounting on items lost when deleveling (with mobs killing you) I don't know what's the status of the one you've talked to... was he doing a job? Was he PK'd? Was he in murderer status?

But to those who are still worried about losing items (equipped) when deleveling - then just place you're items in your storage if you have space. Besides deleveling with your armor on will cost you gold to have them repaired.

Going back to the original topic... people delevel to get more sp points... usually people delevel when the bandit den gives them good sp points (reason for getting lvl16 sos's) - since bandits spawn fast.

FYI: I verified if I'll lose my armor during the 18 to 16 deleveling period and just recently 17 to 16. The other periods of deleveling involved me loosing items (not equipped) although I played safe and placed most of my items in my storage and left maybe rings / necklace on (which wasn't dropped).

lol..
How can those ppl reach lv20/21 with 9 lv gap from lv16?? Because once i reach lv19, each bandit archers give me 12 EXP/50 SP EXP ( around that )
Actually after they reach lv19, which monster do they grind at? Oh ya, bandit archers will turn from green to blue once you hit lv 19

I personally still sp farm, but I don't farm at bandits, if that answers your questions. I farm on mobs just past the river that are around lvl 19-22 or so.
