Well. I was thinking, since I plan to do the real hardcore skill farming at lvl 16 with my sos glaive, I should keep a 9 lvl difference for maximum gaining of sps. But when I got to level 15, I realized that with the already 8 level difference I have, the bowmen quest itself was not sufficient enough to raise my level to 16. And grinding my way through would take too long and less efficient then just getting to 16 with a 9 lvl diff and grinding my ass there. So I was wondering if it was possible to party with my char with another char I have on a diff account. Then using my other higher char to go kill higher level monsters faster in order for exp to dist. and gain exp faster for my skill farming char. would that work?

If I understood correctly, he's asking if it's possible to party with a more advanced character from a different account and leech XP to make getting to level 16 easier.

Sounds plausible, but it also sounds like an awful lot of trouble just to get a character to level 16. I'd either just raise one of my masteries to level 6 (to increase your XP gain ratio), or just tough it out and grind.

It really shouldn't take very long at all either way, even without an SoS Glaive, but it's bothering you that much, I've got to wonder if "hardcore" sp farming is really for you. Personally, I'm pretty happy with a 4-6 level difference; I always have more skill points than I need.

Really? Even when you get to lvl 25-30?

Actually even with semi-sp farming, I didn't have problems with SP until level 30. After which I struggled with the SP a little. If you're farming and intending to get that 30K SP, I bet after getting that 30K SP, you probably will be able to just keep your masteries the same level as your character.

(correct me if I'm wrong)

Yup, but bear in mind... I get by mostly on an imbue, a high-damage spear attack, and a bucket-load of pots. If it takes me more than 2-3 hits to kill anything short of a champion or giant, I'm doing something wrong. :)

Generally speaking, if I run out of quests or I'm close to leveling and eager to get to that next weapon upgrade, I'll bump up my masteries. In the mid-twenties, I typically have around 800-1000 skill points to play with, which for me is plenty. I have a few utility skills, like Grass Walk and Heal-medical Hand, but those take low priority.

Also, dying often for getting overzealous and trying to take on three red-named thieves single-handly goes a long way to keeping my bank of skill points buffed up.

i'm lvl41, and I have more SP than i need. and that's w/ a 4 lvl difference.

exp sharing for your lower char will be even slower than it would be grinding it. the percentage of exp you get per kill is baed on your lvl and the lvls of your pt members. the higher lvl pt member is going to get most of the exp. it's not an even share.

i say suck it up and grind it out. it'll be faster.
