Build?

Im planning on making a sub character, which of these builds are best, dont say personal preference, cause i always semm to mess up:

Pure Str Blade Fire and Light
Pure Str Blade Ice and Light
Pure Str Blade Light

Be a blader to take some dmg, but not kill much. (Unless you happen to be rich enough for lots of astrals, and rich ingame with gold for +5 gear, +7 wep)

The fire light blader is best. But I would rather see you make a fire, light glaive.

Note:
Pure Str Blade Ice and Light => awfull these days, atleast at higher lvls. As most people are immune to the effect of cold at higher lvls you' ll end up with just doing lower damage
Pure Str Blade Light => not a good idea. It' s alot less sp, but because you do less damage you lvl in almost the same time, and are weaker in pvp.
Pure Str Blade Fire and Light => overall one of the most famoust build. You get lightning for the +movement speed skill, and fire for the damage. You can find a nice guide on it here: http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=4676&start=0

go 3 masteries

68/70 bicheon
65 fire
60 light

doesn't need that much sp farming either, and you'll still end up with a strong char (btw focus on knockdown and stab skills and NOT on chains!)

I always thought you needed the chains for pve, as it's the fastest way to deal damage =/

And fastest to reduce durability. I don't know if they are needed or not, only a few bladers bothered to continue to 64+, and I never see them grind

I use chains when I grind since they're fast damage. I don't grind much anymore cause there is never room in the cave so I don't wanna waste money on a ticket/monkey

Whichever elements you want, you must get fire to 60 for the buff and passive to increase your physical damage. The extra magical defense doesn't hurt either.

Lightning buffs (grasswalk) are necessary for high level PVP and quick grinding.
