Usually people get their embues at Lvl 5. What I am doing is waiting until Lvl 14 for the embue to keep a Lvl 9 difference. Is this really worth it? How much extra SP will I get with Lvl 9 difference the whole time? :?

getting the imbune at lvl 5 wont hurt. if anything it helps youkill things quicker therefore in theory you lvl faster which again in theory sujests tht you will gain the 9 level difference quicker.

If you were to think in that frame of mind you cant go wrong.
I pushed all masteries to lvl 24 because from there to lvl 30 there isnt any particular skill i need. So i have the best possible exp coming to me to level faster, still getting 100spexp per kill so every 4 kills is 1 exp. + what i get from quests, my head will still be above water by the time lvl 30 comes and ill have a gap of 6 levels ;)

if that didnt make sence please tell me and ill ignore you.

Made enough sense for me to get my embue now at Lvl 9. I love your comments. :)

I get my imbue at lvl 10. Before that, everything is killed pretty easily just using your weapon, but then you run into Yeohas and things like that, and they require a little bit more unless you want to spend ages grinding.

So at lvl 10 I get my weapon and my Fire skill to lvl 5, get the imbue, and then I don't add anything until lvl 14 (or 13, it depends).

My new character is lvl 12 and just broke 500 SP. I figure that with this approach I'll have about 2000 SP at lvl 20. Then I'll bring the difference to about five or six levels, because I really want Grass Walk lvl 2 and Fire Force lvl 6 by then. I figure I'll still get enough SP, especially since I'm concentrating on blade and Fire, and won't add Force until lvl 22 (Force Rebirth lvl 1).

Well..depending on if you are going to massive skill farm in terms of korean style or just casual playing and keeping a good amount of sps and level gap so that you gain both, you can choose to do it differently. I'm planning to go massively skillfarm, so what I did was, following the beginning part of the skill farming post. I grinded and did quests until level 13. From there, I rose my mastery level to 7, keeping my gap to a 6. Therefore I can level to 16 faster, where I will use my sos wep to skillfarm a lot faster. From there, I plan to quest and grind my way to 16. That's how I look at it, skill farming at beginning, then raising my mastery so I can get to 16 faster, then farming. Depending on what you want to do, you can go at a different way. Like Marcato, keeping level and sp gain rather balanced. Regarding the ratio. Uhh.. From what I read, the ratios are really screwed up, atleast I don't understand it. They're not even with exp: Sp and sp: exp. I just know that, if you plan to grind your way with a 9 lvl gap, even for lvl 14 or something around there, the exp you gain is like...40 something per kill. So...you can decide.

Here's my 2 cents...along with some data I acquired.

At level 11, with no embue and highest mastery level 1, I was killing Stone
Ghosts at the highest floor of the Ch'in tomb (away from any croud). I never
rested. I spent 5k on HP pots per hour. I farmed 20k in gold per hour (not
including drops). I farmed 90 SP per hour. After each hour, I needed
repairs, and to empty my inventory. These numbers are averages from a 8
hour session, and killing as fast as humanly possible.

At level 22, with my highest mastery at level 15 (only a 7 level difference
now), in a fast respawn area of Hyugno Ghosts (the aggro ones), I can still
farm 100 SP per hour...and this is with 45/55 points distribution (EP/SEP). Of
coarse Im killing a smaller number of mobs per hour so the gold income is
cut in half, but any item drops are worth 8x as much. Plus there are giants
now you can mooch off of (or solo for the drops). No giants in Ch'in tomb.

So in my personnal opinion, get the embue at level 5, there is no point in
waiting, its just a waste of your time. :)

If you're pure strength, go ahead and go 9 lvl if you want to. Pure strength meaning pure strength glavie or blade. Pure int? No way you're going to learn the skill any later than lvl 5
