fire imbune dmg question

i kno that when burned it does the consistent dmg

but sometimes i see a random huge number but i look at the mobs life bar and it didnt seem like it did dmg

is this a bug?

yeah, i was wondering that too. like, i when imbune my wepoan with fire.. hit something.. the damage apperas in red colour.. and yet, the monster havn't been damaged.. then when the mosnter is damaged.. another white number appears... it's funnyh....

the red number looks likke the damage you get from burn, but it's 10 times more htan burn..

it's realy wierd..

there's another thread on this around here somewhere. if i remember right, it's a bonus for the hit that causes the burn. it shows in a slightly orangish color, not the regular burn color. i can't say from personal experience, since i only used fire until lvl 14-15, when i switched to ice.

in my experience, it is your damage+the burn because when we damage with imbue it is white but the burn is red. sometimes the burn goes with the damage that you dealt to the mob

example:
damage with imbue=200
burn dmg=10

sometimes it combines both of them dealing 210dmg in red.

i saw a huge 1k burn come up on a ghost soldier, does this mean it combined my high 900 crit hit with the 50 odd burn damage?

it seems to take like the same amount of hits to kill even when i got the extremely high dmg 3 times in a row :shock:

when the lag passes it adds all the accumulative damage and puts it as one faded orange number.

basically it means that it hit but forgot to show it instantly

it's a glitch. that is not the burn dmg you do . its your attack dmg stacked with burn.

ive seen some crazy amount be4 too... like 9xx dmg at lvl 18 lol
