Tip: the only effect that fire imbue will have on cold wave arrest will that it might burn it. It will still only do 1 damage.
My advice for you:
Ditch cold and force, get lightning and fire. Force isn't really worth it for the Chinese because when FOS comes out (european silkroad), they will have clerics which specialize in healing and ress. Cold, while you get the defence bonus, isn't that good later on because people obtain ice immunity from fire-shield and equipment, so you will not be able to freeze or frostbite your opponents in pvp.
Fire: has the str damage increase buffs, and it also has magical defence increase buffs. In addition, it also has the strongest imbue.
Lightning: This force is nearly a nessesity for an archer, because it gives you speed bonuses as well as parry(things will do less damage when they finaly get to you) This force branch has the 2nd strongest imbue, which has the side effect of lowering your opponents parry so you can do even more damage than fire. Only downside is with autopot, they just pill it away. The imbue has 3 transfers, so you can agro mobs on you by mistake as well.
If anything, ditch force. Ice might become better, because people will not be willing to spend money on ice immunity when they are going to grow out of it when SRO raises the cap.
Tell me if you want me to go into more detail. I also suggest that you look at the strengths and weakness of the different archer builds.
+1. Fire and light are the two most useful force trees. Fire because of imbue+buffs, light for buffs and grasswalk.
