I just started to play SRO a few days ago and just for fun i created a 70/70 fire bow character. I'm lvl 14 now and after reading the forums it seems that leveling with a "gap" means you get far more sp. Unfortunately, i didn't know this and have had 0 gap the entire time and already notice at lvl 14 that i don't have enough sp to max out Pancheon and Fire.

My question is whether or not this character is screwed? Should i start over? I doubt i'll ever make it past lvl 40-50 and have little interest in PvP. I'm mostly just playing for fun. Is it worth starting over with a 2 or 3 gap?

Lv 14 is not far. Start again, and you can level with a 3 lv gap all the way. Alternatively try reading stickied guides about SP farming in this section. You can, therefore, consider farming at 16 in the bandit den. In the end, it's up to you. Read the guides and decide for yourself.

u are only lvl 14 u can fix this just put lvl 3 gap all the time when u need to farm put lvl 9 gap. the gap works like this example your lvl is 20 and your fire/pacheon are in lvl 11 your gap is lvl 9 the diff between your higher mastery and your level. hope this can help u...

So you never be able to max them out if you haven't gapped in the beginning?
If that's true I'll have to start too I'm afraid. =\

So without gapping you won't make it to the higher levels?
Can someone explain please? I'm really confused now.

Thanks for the replies. From what i understand, you can make the higher levels with 0 gap, you will just have FAR fewer skill points to distribute. This means at lvl 50-60+, leveling becomes REALLY slow. For instance, i have had 0 gap until lvl 14 and can't max out all the skills i want to in just 2 masteries. If i had 3 gapped the whole time, i would have 30% mroe skill points, which makes life a lot easier...

Its ok, you can start gapping now. I went 4 gap all the way and im ok till now (lv 56- bicheon , fire , light, heuksal). Its up to you what you will do. Either gap 4-5 and go all the way or sp farm - 0 gap - sp farm etc etc.

(sp farm = 9 gap)
