alright, I am starting with a bow build but I don't know what force to use ?

Ice, to slow enemys down

Fire, because of the big damage

also some people say that ice has no effect during pvp, but it slows the ennemy down for 1-2 seconds before the autopot uses the pills.....

so the conclusion, what force should I get ??

I think, if you plan on farming and leveling ice, that you should have both imbues. Use ice for PvE and fire for PvP.

yes, but ice relies on the effect, where as the burn/shock are virtually insegnificant. Ice for PvE, fire for PvP.

I used to like the ice spell, but I just realised that fire so much better for someone who uses a glavie.. Unfortunately, I found out yesterday =/

I believe it's NOT going to be fixed. Now, the fire shield is a procent reduction (proved by chuch in a thread some time ago --> use search button :) ). Maxed, it provides with a 78% reduction of abnormal stats. Even if it is turned into absolute reduction, ice immunity will still be possible. It will be harder, but possible. Even if it does get fixed, you should take fire for the extra magical damage. full STR builds already have small magical damage so using ice imbue only adds up to the loss. Get the fire imbue by any means. :)
