I'm new to the game... started on 4/25/07 and I'm level 10... 1k from lvl 11. I've wasted all my skill points upgrading the sword/blade style (forgot the name... oh well... in a week I'll know almost everything to know about this game... a month I'll probably be able to draw a map of every place...).

I want advice on how I should work on my character now? I really just want this person to be a monster-killer and I'll make a pker after I've had experience in the game. He uses sword atm... but I'm going to start using the bow also. Well I've upgraded my int like 5 times while I upgraded str the rest.

I want to be str based and I'm thinking of using fire style. Any advice?

NOTE I DON'T WANT A PKER ATM... I HAVE LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE AND DON'T EVEN KNOW PRICES OF ITEMS.

okay, go full str bow, w/ crits ull take monsters no prob and lvl up fast

don put anything into int if ur gonna switch to blade cause blade is a full str crit build

(FYI full int spear is probly fastest training and bow is second.. from my exp)

1st) Can I switch to blade and it'll have the same skills as my sword?
2nd) Should I switch to a blade? I picked the sword for the attack ratio. Not sure if I should go str, seems accuracy might be more important than str when fighting monsters.

If you want the best mob killing build do the following:
Start over, and put every single point into STR.
Then, pick a bow, and you will deal awsome criticals and level fast.

Another option is building a pure INT spear.
That means, you need to put every point into INT, and use the spear.

In both cases, use the fire imbue.

mob killing builds are pure int spear, and ocassionally sword when you feel u may get killed w/ giants

every stat into int
only take heuksal to lvl 20...get bare minimum of skills & leave at lvl 1 (wolf bite, dancing demon, soul spear, ghost spear & 2 lvls of hp passive)
take light to lvl 14 for grass walk, & also get peircing force
take fire as main mastery, but only get fire imbue to use nothing else, since ur just gonna kill mobs & buffs, passives at low lvls dont do much anyway

u'll reach lvl 30 quick, get the fire nuke, save sp a little & get ur light also to 30 & get light nuke & lionshout for back up skills to spam while fire coolsdown

you'll have a mega monster killing machine, & almost always grind on mobs u can 1-nuke kill or 1-nuke 1-shout kill, you'll kill faster & Have better chance of getting drops :D

if you just wanna level as fast as possible, get a pure int spear user with only lightning mastery (raising imbue, piercing force, grasswalk, nukes, and maybe lion shout).

if you wanna slaughter monsters regardless of how much you need to farm, get a pure int spear with the piercing force, grasswalk, fire imbue, lion shout, and lightning+fire nukes.

Yhea I agree. I've tried making a dual weapon character and normally it's not the best thing, but I guess if you want to use dual you can, but your gonna need a ton of exp.

On the other hand, you can stick with bow and level until your like level 64+ and then switch to blade. From there you have two choices: 1. uses the skill point relocation and relocte all of the bow skills 2. Don't relocate your skills and spend ages skill point farming and this will make the game boring.

I warned you!

If your a person who plays very little and just likes to enjoy the game.(and not take over the PK system) then i would recommend a Pure STR Blader... This type of char has very cool skills, tank very well, very hard to kill in "Monster-slaying" and is just fun to kill things with.

I would recommend Bicheon,Fire,Lightning, and maybe Cold. Try working on 2 masteries at your level Bicheon/Fire, untill you can SP farm to raise the others.

well...his topic did say best monster killer, so it's pure int spear, 1-2hit mobs, while bladers (above) are not counted as monster killers, since they take forever to bring down a mob

so pure int = best mob killer
pure str blader = worst mob killer ever on the planet of isro
