Hey,

Im just curious if the dmg turns out higher on the Hybrid then on the Pure Str. Lets say both have Bicheon + Fire on their lvl and using Bicheon Tree Skills together with Fire Imbue, both got the fire %physical buff/passiv and the hybrid also a little lighting for grasswalk and the %magical buff( but not that high). Yeah would the 1:1 Hybrid do higher dmg then the Pure Str using Chains and/or Knockdown + Stabs. I tend to let the Hybrid rather use a Sword, then a blade, but im also not sure about that.

Thanks for answers and greetins tam.

mm i think the Hybrid would do more dmg, but the Pure would have more HP to tank the hits

Hybrid would win hads down because it'll dish out a hell of alot more dmg in a short time. That is if they dont pot. if they pot then it's hard to decide ;)

i think it would depend on the player's level. at lower levels, i'd definitely see the hybrid doing more damage. but i think as you get higher, your balances would drop for both magical and physical being 1:1, so it may be less effective. haven't tested it though, just my thoughts.

Most hybrids arent 1:1 at higher levels from my experience. IMO You should stick to one stat til 35+ then decide to go hybrid.

thanks for your answers so far. I ask that because if the Hybrid were be able to dish out more dmg then the pure str blade, imo he has some advantages over the pure str on 1 on 1 PvP as his opponent should be on the ground most of the time anyhow, so the survivability should be ok on the Hybrid too.
But if the dmg would be equal or lesser then the pure str, he has no advantages imo. Im just curious about that, thats why i ask :)

why would you say his opponent would be on the ground most of the time. if they're both bladers.... both of them would have the same skills(like your first post said), so there's no gaurantee of who would be put down on the ground....

It wasnt meant as straight duel between the hybrid and pure str, but in general in duels. So for example vs a glavie/spear user the opponent would be on the ground a good amount of the time.
