...

I know I am stupid and I am probably creating a problem where there is none. But I have been reading guides all the time and they are all talking about "getting skills to get a mastery" and then "getting a skill to get a mastery up" and whatever and it could be in Chinese as well since I have no clue how the skill system works here. I have been playing Diablo2 for a long time and there the skill system is easy. You can raise the skills you want to use up to 20 points and the ones you don't want you don't rise. You get exp from kiling monsters and per level you get one skill point. Woohow, so easy. BUT SR APPARANTLY IS NOT?!? :? :? :?

I mean, I already was quite confused about the whole skill farming concept but I kind of understood it by now so that isn't too much of a problem. I just wanna know the skill stuff.

I mean, please, either try to explain it to me step by step with pictures if necessary or just tell me which skill buttons to click on until my char is like level 150 so I know what to do to get the best Fire-Strength-Glavie built around! Right now I am lvl 7 with 39.28 exp and 120 Skill Points. I know that I should start skilling from lvl 10 only but I would like to know in advance anyways.

I really like Fly's guide. I have used it for my str/fire/bow. I have not built a glaive user, before, so what I will attempt to do, is interpret Fly's guide for you.

Ok, now for fire skills, he has already eliminated 3 for you, that is Fire shield, fire wall, and fire arrow. Buff all else under fire. For the glaive, he says:

So, now lets look at the skills here:
http://sro.mmosite.com/database/skills/ ... ship.shtml

You see that different skills have a different % bonus listed under Effect/Range. I think that this is what Fly is talking about here, so then that would include the following skills for spear/glaive:

Yuhon spear
Dancing demon spear
Spirit crash spear
Soul spear-Move
Soul spear-Truth
Ghost spear-Petal
Ghost spear-Prince
Ghost spear-Mars
Flying dragon-Flow
Flying dragon-Fly

And then your passive which would be Cheolsam Force.

Having said that, let me just add that you need to read other posts similar to yours. Some glaive users would reduce the number of skills further.

Experiment and have fun.

I would suggest putting 1 point in all the skill just to try them out and see what you like... if it really bugs you to have a skill that you don't use u can always unlearn it with the lvl 20 herb quest that lets you delvl skills.

I'll try to give you a quick summery.

Unlike D2 where u get 1sp per lvl in this game you gain sp exp per kill and dependent on your lvl a set number of sp exp will give you 1 SP. Then you use these sp to learn the skill you want. This means you can potentially max every skill that you have(but you can only have 300 masteries points total). To do this ppl sp "farm" by keeping a high lvl diff between their highest mastery and their lvl where 9 is the max difference that give any bonus.

thats about it ... gl
