For a pure int s/s, with 80 bicheon and cold, should i take 80 fire and 60 light or 60 fire and 80 light? and Which imbue should i choose?

probably 80 fire and 60 light cos fire does more damage, you have ice for the defence, not too much lightning needed, it's only for some buffs anyway... I'd choose 80 fire 60 light

Thanks.
Would the lightning buffs make up for the loss of damage from fire (I don't mean more damage but the speed increase and parry ratio etc. Do you think they're better than more damage?)

Thanks in advance to anyone else who post :D

Fire does more damage, but it's not THAT much, though definitely fire 80 light 60 would do more than light 80 fire 60, but for just imbue, if your using lightning nukes, might as well use lightning for imbue too, save a whole tree of sp 8)

im doing 80 light with light imbue, you need all buff from light to be maxed.

it's never a NEED but which one making a better choice.

i'd go with light.

and because of the presence party mobs especially when a pure int is not in a share party, ice imbue or some freezing skills like frost nova is becoming more important to help the pure int to survive.

lightning nuke hits hardest now, so might as well get light as main.

plus you should be wearing protector or armor, and you need the grasswalk and phantom to catch up to the STR's speed in garms.

fire.

theres more shit under the fire tree that you could get instead of just getting the heuksal passive.

and lvl 57 fire protection makes ur char look better.

hmm r u sure? i have fire and light maxed using fire imbue and flame wave wide hits the hardest for me, horses thunderbolt is second followed by flame wave bomb which hits harder than flame wave burn when maxed.

Although Fire imbue does most damage to single targets, I like the fact that Lightning has splash damage for a potentially higher total damage output.
Splash comes with a condition transfer too, meaning foes adjacent to your target will get e.g. frozen or burnt while using ice or fire nukes respectively. It also works with Stun from glaive/spear, though I don't know if KD applies too.
As cap increases mastery points become scarce and I feel lightning has more goodies for my hybrid than fire.
My 2 cents :)

imo there are 2 efficient s/s builds right now, its either

bicheon 80
fire 80
lightning 80
cold 60

i think this one works better for hybrids since you r hybrid you`ll already have more hp then a pure int, so dropping that extra 1078k hp wont make much of difference, so go with the more dmging build.

or

bicheon 80
lightning 80
cold 80
heuksal 60

this one works best for pure ints coz you will need the extra phy defense n hp, if you drop heuk passive as a pure int you will have very limited hp even tough we have mana shield now it doesnt lasts forever, n i also think 60 fire instead of 60 heuk is a waste of masteries since with 60 fire you cant use its nukes, cant use the imbue n the mag defense you get at this lvl is really low, only good think bout 60 fire is status immunity but i dont think its worth trowing away 60 masteries for just immunity.

my 2 cents

May I know does Cold - Mana Shield dominates pure INT chars? If does, then how much should drop other tree?

Thanks to everyone.
After reading what everyone had to say and watching several videos, I'm gonna make a dual wep and completely drop fire.
may be expensive but it sounds like fun to me :-P
