Lvl 80 PvP & Jobbing

From what I've read & seen (yay youtube), as far as the current level cap is concerned, Hybrid nukers, be it s/s or spear, and Str/Hybrid Bows dominate PvP & Jobbing for the most part. This is, of course, on the China side of things. I'm aware of the 1 hit chaos from wiz's, and the thieving capability of rogues :p

The one thing that I haven't seen much of, are actual comparisons between these two powerhouses. My question is, as far as the lvl 80 cap is concerned, which of these builds are better for PvP & Jobbing?

well bow is better thena nuker when it comes ot pvp and jobbing, cause a bow can stun and knock back which is so good, and u can also crit upto 10k or more, and by that u one hit a nuker, but still i prefer a nuker:>

Im fine in both wit my hybrid s/s,dish out damage and still tank abit even without snow shield.
So w/e u prefer i guess

A wiz that can 1 hit his opponent will win any fight against a rogue, if they are both within range of attacking. That is simply because the wiz will hit faster than the rogue. However, because of the Long Shot skill, a rogue might get a crit or might 1 hit the wiz before they can finish casting since the wiz will have to make up the extra 7 meters before attacking. Although a smart wiz will first close in with teleport from outside of a rogue's range, then nuke. They will still attack faster than the rogue.

Since both the wizard and the rogue can go invisible, it would be pointless to try and sneak up on a wizard during 1 on 1 PvP. But as a sneak attack it will work and the wizard will most definitely die unless it can survive long enough to attack. But the same can be said if a wizard goes invisible and sneaks up on a rogue.

In conclusion, a wizard will probably win if it is a fair fight, and it goes either way if they stealth/invis.

As far as bows go - is full STR or hybrid better in PvP? I know hybrid is better in pvm because it does more dmg, but does that make it worse in pvp because of it's hp?

well undutchable explained 80:80 hybrid VS pure str archer best imo...so i'm just gonna quote him

The question wich one is better...well with the hybrid build u can actually kill everything and die to everyone, with the str bow i wouldnt die fast, and could kill mostly any build(but i always needed a crit to win). But when a full str goes vs a hybrid bow(with same weps) it would be a very nice pvp i think. Cuz when the str bow crits, it does hella lots of dmg and will almost kill the hybrid bower. But on the other hand, if the hybrid stuns the str one he will do amazing dmg in a row, and he can pot his dmg away. In the future i will make a vid with undutchable vs kaws :roll:

Sorry, that part was a little misleading, since I considered wizards and rogues to be the two powerhouses.

well....i got full str archer lvl 80 and i jus fought another lvl 80 hybrid...who is jus little mored farm then me....and yes its damage its higher constantly but not enough to kill me...but when i crit...it hurts....well...5 out of 6 ain't bad would u say....

Well, every char has its ups and downs.

If you play hybrid good and get good gear, you could win most STR's
