Hello, I'm a lv 52 (or almost) Cleric/Bard with lv 50 Cleric Mastery, 40 Bard, and 10 Warrior (for shield trash).
I am usually having trouble finding good parties and I cannot solo since the only attack skill I have is Offering and auto attack. I thought of adding Bard attack skills so I could solo but my Bard Mastery would be at most 10 levels lower than my character level due to the 10 Warrior Mastery for shield trash... (Ex. at level 50 I can only get lv 40 Bard at most.. etc.)
So.. I was wondering should I still add Bard attack skills even if the skills wouldn't be up-to-date because the mastery would be 10 Mastery level below my current level? Would the not up-to-date Bard attacks be too weak to solo? I don't want to solo as a cleric because Trial Cross would be my only attack skill to grind.
Or.. Should I de-level Shield Trash and go full 50 Bard and 50 Cleric? Shield trash is really useful in parties tho since my healings aggro mobs all the time >.<
Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance =]
I'm a hybrid cleric/warrior, going to throw in some Bard skills soon, similar to yours. I have no problems soloing, but I just can't solo 9 levels above me consistently.
I have 15 str in so more hp already, it helps. However that lowers my magical damage a bit and makes taking out parties/cp's/pt giant's a lot slower. Shield Trash is great once you get it up high enough to Dull well. Doesn't affect every monster the same way, but slows 'em down a lot.
I pve like this: Hit em with Justice Cross, then Shield trash once they get close, then JC again. Usually does it. If not, or if it's a champ/giant party, JC/ST, then Recovery/pt heal to get my HP up, then Offering, rinse, repeat. I have to time the offering carefully of course. Once in a blue moon I use Bless to make sure I can throw down Offering.
I would not add Bard skills, but that's just me n' my Shield Trash talking

The debuffs could be useful but since they're DOT, who knows...
