Hey guys, i have a pretty good frost reduction set on me right now but most of the set are level 28-ish and im at the end of 3X. So, is absorption more important than the frost/burn reduction?

obsorbtion is your FIRST line of defence

the most inportant damage reduser is jewelry

Absorbtion reduces damage taken by a percent whereas defense reduces it by a static number. SOS jewelry is very expensive for a reason

I use fire shield buff and die quickly so unless I'm doing some really critical PvPing I don't have much use for more status reduction.

Effect reduce is really useful only when it makes you immune.
I have 3 jewelry pieces ~lvl30 with frost reduce + fire shield book3 and I am immune to frostbite. I use this stuff only for jobs, and I haven't noticed a sgnificant increase of the damage taken.

w/ jewelry i take about 350-450 damage from soil ghost bug
w/o jewelery i take about 1500 damage per hit from the same mob

whoever says jewelry isn't important, stop misleading people.
