There's no bard/cleric guide around as far as I know, but if you combine Uehara's bard guide with a good cleric guide you should be fine. Bard/cleric basically implies that you can function as either bard or cleric within the party, depending on the party needs. With regards to solo play, go bard, and use the clerical buffs like holy word/spell, bless, and recovery division. Perhaps one of these days I'll take a screenshot of my skill list, and post it with an explanation of why I didn't take certain skills.

Ok, let's give this a try. Skills I did not take as bard/cleric and why:
Bard: Mana switch: I have enough mana coming to me to bother finding a good target for this spell. Holding Clamor: Patter Clamor is better, and doesn't require this skill. Cure Melody: I'm a cleric; I have holy word/spell already. Temptation: The novelty soon wears off, and it's not that useful in grinding. Rave Melody: I'm pure INT; I'm not gonna convert HP to MP. Discord Wave: It often seems to increase aggro rather than decrease it. I have better things to do in combat. Dance of Healing: Not worth the SP to me. With a good cleric you won't need it anyway, and I haven't encountered a party in which I would prefer this over the other 2 dances. Dance of Mana: Not worth the SP to me. With a good bard you won't need it anyway (and you'll have at least 2 in order to be able to cast it anyway), and I haven't encountered a party in which I would prefer this over the other 2 dances.
Cleric: Healing: I have enough healing spells; not going to bother with targeted ones. Reverse: I have enough res spells; I prefer the one that gives buff in return for damage decrease. Innocent: I have holy word/spell. Healing Division: See Healing. Healing cycle: I deleveled this when I got healing orbit. Not worth the SP to me to keep it. Recovery: See Healing. Holy word: I deleved this when I got holy spell. Not worth the SP to me to keep it. Heaven flash: Heaven Glare is better, and doesn't require this skill. Obviously I don't have the spells that depend on all these spells either (the higher level versions).
Bards and clerics don't have a lot of really useless skills. They just have so many skills doing the exact same thing that it's not worth the SP getting/keeping them all.

By combining the right tambour, keeping my distance, and using my quick bardic spells I can hold my own. If things get too tough, I switch to cleric, and activate healing orbit. If I'm really pissed I'll activate bless, bind my opponent, and then use offering. In group pvp this character shines. I deal very quick and good damage while providing my party with some excellent buffs. For an idea, check out Uehara's videos in his bard guide. As for my avatar: that's one of my dogs.

"phulshof" Cleric: Reverse: I have enough res spells; I prefer the one that gives buff in
What you don't have reverse? I'm a level 20 and it seems very important to have that skill in parties. Are there more ress spells?

Group reverse and reverse oblation, but you're right: they don't start until level 40. Considering it's a skill you get once per 10 levels though, it's not too painful in the SP department to carry all of them.
