so i m a rogue crossbow and i m lvl-ing up wif a single class(crossbow) and lvl 20 bard....i decided bard as my secondary class previously but i m unsure now aft analysing the cleric skills...should i go for bard or cleric?

Bard:

Quote:
R1C3: Music Life
Skill form : Passive
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : All weapon or empty hand
Effect:
L1-MP consumption 10% decrease
L5-MP consumption 22% decrease

R3C1
Skill form : Active
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : Harp
Effect:
Increase the movement speed of party members.
L1- Continuous hour 600 second, circumference scope radius 30.0m (target 8 ), movement speed 20% increase
L6- Continuous hour 600 second, circumference scope radius 30.0m (target 8 ), movement speed 55% increase

crossbowman requires to maintain their advantage (furthest range in game) so i think speed is important
If i gonna take bard secondary class, i will level up tis two skills only

but i realise that cleric skills are gd for crossbow too

Quote:
R5C4: Cross Bow Extreme
Skill form : Active
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : Cross Bow
Effect:
L1-Continous time 900 second, Damage 75% increase, physical attack power 18 increase, maximum HP 50% decrease, and maximum physical defence strength 40% decrease.
L7- time 900 second, Damge 75% increase, physical attack power 88 increase, maximum HP 50% decrease, and maximum physical defence strength 40% decrease.

as a crossbow u hv to turn tis skill on if u really wanna 1 hit pure int of ur level...but it will reduce ur phy def by 40% and 50% hp...and i find that 40% reduction in phy def will really make u as vulnerable as a int (i can be 1 hit by a giant 3 lvl above me after turning tis skill on and i m pure str !)

now Cleric:
Quote:
R11C3
Skill form : Active
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : Cleric rod
Effect:
L1- Continuous hour 1800 second, physical defensive strength 23 increase, (currently 100% of the maximum objective ability it peels but application)
L6- Continuous hour 1800 second, physical defensive strength 76 increase, (currently 100% of the maximum objective ability it peels but application)

R11C4
Skill form : Active
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : Cleric rod
Effect:
L1- Continuous hour 1800 second, magical defensive strength 57 increase, (currently 100% of the maximum objective ability it peels but application)
L4- Continuous hour 1800 second, magical defensive strength 113 increase, (currently 100% of the maximum objective ability it peels but application)

the 2 above skills requires

R8C2
Skill form : Passive
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : All weapon or empty hand
Effect:
This effect will only apply when wearing light armor.
L1- Physical defensive strength 9 increase
L7- Physical defensive strength 44 increase

R8C3
Skill form : Passive
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : All weapon or empty hand
Effect:
This effect will only apply when wearing light armor.
L1- Magical defensive strength 25 increase
L6- Magical defensive strength 81 increase

so since the extreme crossbow skill is so deadly but makes me vulnerable, i can use cleric as 2nd class and + my phy and mag def(passive requires protector which is wat rogue wears) to compensate for the 40% reduce phy def

(Requires justification here:
i heard from cleric that u only can cast the + phy/mag def skill on urself.....the + int/+str skill can only be cast on other people, but not on urself....is that true? )

sry its abit long, any kSRO wif Euro char experts can give ur opinions? any of u played cleric, rogue before feel free to correct me and give ur opinions as well, thx

also, but you prolly knew that already..

if my cleric buffs people and i swap to warlock rod to cast some DoT skills,
the buffs are gone.

im not sure how that is with skills to cast on yourself.

Well with bard got only 2 buff u can use, and when change weapon buff still here : the speed buff and the personal harmony.

and ->R1C3: Music Life
Skill form : Passive
Skill attribute : Buff
Use Weapon : All weapon or empty hand
Effect:
L1-MP consumption 10% decrease
L5-MP consumption 22% decrease

ya it s passif, but u need wear bard for the pasif launch, when u use cross bow or dag, the passif dont launch.

On the cleric u can find some too : the regen (give xx hp during xx min), and 2 buff defense.

The best one for rogue, it s cleric buff.

hmm...wat u mean by "wearing bard" ? i saw the description of the skill in Chinese and it juz says u only need bard lvl 10...didnt specify require holding harp or wearing garment....

2 defense buff u mentioned is it the "continuous 1800 seconds, +phy/mag def"?
so u mean that when u use a cleric rod and cast it on urself...and then u change weapon to crossbow, the +phy/mag def buff remains there?

as i said.

for cleric skills you need cleric rod
for warlock skills you need warlock rod

if you buff with cleric or bard, you need to hold the cleric or bard weapon
if you then swap to your warlock rod to cast DoT attacks, the buffs casted
with the cleric rod will dissapear.

i also believe that what he is saying that you need to wear cleric rod to get
the cleric passives.

i m a rogue and bard, i buff wif harp for speed buff, then change to crossbow, the speed buff remains...

so i juz wanna know that if i were to lvl up my cleric class lvl, can i buff wif cleric rod for the +phy/mag def buff, then change weapon to crossbow, will the buff remain?

as for the bard/cleric passive i can test it out to see if it requires holding harp/cleric rod or not....

warlock rod to cast spells, the buffs go away.:x

regarding the cleric buff qn, i tested them last night wif a cleric in my party and prove that :

1. +str/int buff cannot be cast on cleric himself
2. +phy/mag def buff can be cast on cleric himself
3. after cleric buff the +phy/mag def on himself and me, he changes weapon to axe, the def buff on him is GONE, but it remains on me...so that means that if i were to lvl up cleric class, its useless cuz buff up def --> change to crossbow --> buff gone

so cleric is not a good secondary class for a rogue IMO
