XP thing is bugged. After 3h you will get half xp anyway, and even a relog won't fix it.
Oh and when you try to access the silk purchse page from within the game, it directs you to http://http//www.zelosonline.com/precint.html

Also 11d has only one tier and nova(+7), which is totally stupid, in 100 cap last tier can do just fine vs (sun parts players) there wont be full sunners because sun is harder to get than novas, which diamond is full of nova+7 players or even more.


Actually nova is not that overpowered. And everyone can get one quite easily, if you just do FGW (for weapons), battle arena (for acc's), pharao's tomb and job cave (for armor). You can earn your Nova Equipment, it's not just a lucky drop. At 10D you may be lucky and get a sun drop or you won't and you'll never get SOX equipment. It's only about having luck or not, not really fair in my opinion. But when you collect arena coins, silver/gold coins and FGW talismans, it's just fair, that you get better equipment than the players, who don't do it. You worked for your SOX Equipment.

Imo i can say that 40% of high lvls have a nova wep and 10% has a full nova set or at least 6/10 of it, in this cap novas drop alot, its not really about thr novas anyways.

It's currently set to 110 cap, take it or leave it.


And strwarrior 86.4% of statistics are made up. :)

Still waiting to see if there are others like me, just looking for US time dependable party group. Just looking to party grind a few hours a night, nothing big. Not looking to be the first to the cap. I plan on zero gapping.

As said, I don't mind going Wizard/Bard/Cleric or going Warrior as tank.

Personally I think these XP rates are perfect for party play. I find the high rates are too boring since you only grind in one spot for 30 seconds or less before moving on.

I also hope it's not just a SoN farming server and people are more focused on other activiies.

I'm also most impressed by the staff. I trust npcdoom and his crew. I am not impressed by the Xcoding/Redster staff at all and the other servers far as I'm concerned are utter amateaurs and shouldn't be running game servers that sell silk for money. Shouldn't be selling something unless you can guarantee excellent service and product which they can't.

I think it may be a good idea if the SRF players from Diamond and Redster leave and join this server.

FYI, I have absolutely no interest in joining a server run by Avalon ****. So I hope SRF players migrate to this server and stay if npcdoom, eckoro and his crew can be depended on to keep the server running, since they alreayd have proven they know their shit.

When you say x4 xp at the beginning, is this x4 of iSRO stats or x4 of another official server? Some servers say x35 but it was like x35 of iSRO or something.

Yeah alot of people have good memories of those times, although it had it's bugs was one of the best emulators to come out at the time and there was not as many private servers fully up-to-date back then.

Be nice to see some guilds get going, once a few guilds form, I am sure more players will get joining.

We will be GMing on the server in a professional manner, but also will have our own fair accounts for playing with the users, since we love this game, reason why we have always tried to setup server is to play it in parties.

I remember eckoro spawning several Isys for us, just because we were that awesome.
Hunting Isys was incredibly fun in the BETA.

I would love to play Silkroad again, especially Zelos, but I just don't have time for it right now. I've been extremely busy with work and school, and I've promised myself not to play any online games cause they'll distract myself too much.
But this is oh so tempting...

Since so many of the SRF users who appreciated Zelos are busy with school etc, I really do think lowering the level cap for now is a good idea. So it's not a drag leveling straight to 110 on their limited time.

This is about having fun right? Not about grinding forever straight to see who levels fastest right?

Wello27 Well you get that problem in all games, guild members leveling without you when you are away for few days, that is more about self control for people.

Ye, that sure was fun. It was already kinda funny, how we even leveled past 60 through a bug, even though the lv. cap was supposed to be 60. I was lv.63 or something until npcdoom changed it back to lv.60. :D

So rather than accepting that a lot of the players who have expressed interest in your server on SRF, and try to accomodate their play time with lower cap and gradually lifting it... You'd rather say, tough, it's your problem, deal with it, it's your time management issue?

I don't see what the problem is with just raising caps as you go...

And with most games when they FIRST release their server/game, they do raise caps. WoW didn't release from day one with cap 85. GW2 isn't going to be released with caps at level 110 either. Neither is SWTOR.

Yes iSRO has been around forever so it's at 110. Your server with these official files will be it's debut opening. I think should reduce caps and raise as you go. Especially knowing the 110 cap is bollocks, shitty. People haven't been playing on your server for years as some have been in iSRO.

You say you want to play also with non-GM characters to play with your friends. Do you consider some who have expressed interest in raising caps on SRF as your friends? Or the douches on ePVP who just want to farm Nova weapons at the cap and piss you off by attempting to bot and cheat and reach 110 cap first?

Yes a low capped server would be awesome and increasing it time by time would again be awesome. Something we were originally considering, but we thought it would be too problematic to do so. You are always gonna have people left behind that are newcomers.

I think this is a future idea is good, once we have player base. People trying out our different specialist servers. But ideas we came up with like 'Reliving Silkroad, Legend by Legend'. So it's something we have considered and may do soon, when we have more funds.

This is very nice server so far, no lag or delays at all. But then I think server pop is under 100 right now.
