This is starting to look like secret salvation reborn propaganda, however I wonder how they will be able to keep players, if a server with 200x more stuff than salvation can ever dream of, and with an actual skilled team (we actually got a sysadmin, you can place your bet on when salvation will go down due to ddos attacks or any random sro exploit).

Now please stop posting your random crap in a pathetic attempt to gather players for your non-exisiting "salvation reborn" server, and stop posting pictures of venture's player amount during the nighttime on a work day, if this proves anything, it proves that bots are not a problem for venture.


While I'm always in for a healthy dicussion about our server, purely bashing it without any real reason is not really the point of a discussion forum

Actually, you were in my guild and you were partying with us and rambling on and on about silkroad salvation reborn or whatever it was. So yes, I do know what I'm talking about. There are no assumptions, you are making yourself look like an ass.


Seems we've reached a misunderstanding, I never joined any guilds, or parties for that matter, on this server. Quite possible the account I did use got compromised somehow, though I doubt it. What name was said person rambling about salvation using? Quite likely it was just some idiot too. I assure you, it wasn't me. Dislike for this server aside, I'm not a liar.

I don't remember saying anything about salvation reborn here (first time now). How is 10:43 am night time ? that's almost middle of day. I took that screen right after my post here and edited it in. Despite what you might think i don't sit all night waiting for venture population to be as low as possible before taking screen. At peek hours it's probably 20.

There is allot of jobbing going on, Either trading in guild or outside guilds

My guild BGH, Does daily bargain goods trades etc etc.

ok Toast, name one unique feature that Salvation has, that no other server had? If it was a perfect server, why did it die anyway? and They are trying to reborn it stealing people's donation and not even updating anything in their news for 2 months.

How can you know all the Features of this server if you only played less than an hour? Probably you are the kind of guy who begs for powerlevel, but when no one helps you out, You then quit and say "The Server is Boring"

Like I said those past players who quit over a month ago, knows nothing what happening to the server now, so keep your crap to yourself.

P.S. For new players who wants to join the server, Just want to warn you for 1 certain asshole in game named "Europa,Fitness,Lightning,Wiz" He is an outcast in this server, every guild he joined, he got kicked cuz he's an asshole" No guild welcomes him, and automatically gets kicked when we know he created a new char and join a certain guild. Now since he's in misery, he creates a new guild trying to deceive new players, If you ever let this guy fool you, will have the worst SRO Experience in your life.

Nothing new was updated during last month, so enlighten me on what is it that i don't know. Only thing that changed is amount of people playing.

Wasn't pointed at you, I do not know in which timezone you live, but we are all located (and most of our players too) in western europe (gmt+1) and during my time I don't think it ever drops below 20. Not that it really matters :wink:

Well, it can be clearly seen on screen that it was 10:43 Venture time. My timezone have nothing to do with it.

That was a choice based on that I had heard Salvation was party-centric. Every server after that I've played a dual wep chinese.

Still waiting on stupido to tell me who this random kid pretending to be me was/is.

Venture is closing

We started this project off for fun in our free time without any pressure, just looking at the possibilities of the server files and what not. Our main goal was just to make a server that would be fun to play, balanced and not pay to win, because of experiences we had with other private servers.

I will admit there were a couple of mistakes, but all in all I think our server was and still is one of the best out there . So why are we deciding to quit? Firstly lets state that the server does not have as much players online as we would like it to have, on the other hand we never set off to make bathtubs full of money off of this project. But we do care for these players so we have been working on the update to attract more players whenever we could, even though I personally have been really busy with my bachelor the last couple of weeks. We added a lot of features already, which we will not say anything more about, as we think that nobody cares or other servers will just steal it and take credit. The point is that with every feature we added we got more frustrated with the engine and its limitations (and how retarded joymax was when they made it), which made us question what we were really doing this for.

The community made very clear that they do not want a server without a bot, while we think botting destroys the game and it is not needed at all. We did not want to allow bots, so we realised that this update would probably get a short influx of maybe 50 new players, which would probably decrease too. Furthermore, from the start on we got really disappointed with the silkroad community. We thought people would agree with us and would like a server which is just fun to play. Boy, were we wrong. It turns out that 80% of the community just wants to set up their bot, go away and expect to be the strongest on the server. If you could just think about that for a moment you would realise that works for NOTHING. The community also turned out to be a bunch of kids that can not read the rulebook. If we state there is no botting allowed on our server, and you get caught botting, dont start crying or threatening us, you know you were wrong just pack your bags and leave. As waves of annoyance/ignorance/stupidity washed over us we also got frustrated with the community.

So all in all we think there is no point in developing this server as we are tired of dealing with this crappy joymax engine and this community. So Venture will not recieve any update and close down when our server rental period ends (in about 3 weeks).

The Venture Team

TLDR: Venture closing in few weeks, tired of community/engine.

quite the opposite, we don't have enough money anymore to keep the server up, at least not with the same quality we have tried to assure the past weeks. Though this is not the main reason we are closing, money is (was?) not really the focus of this server

Send them a message on there forums if they want to sell the server off to us. ( BGH ) our group is willing to keep the server up and i have enough experience to run it. Maybe they will accept this offer i personaly hope so they did a great job on the server and it would suck if it disapeared.

how about we move to Koveea guys? lets try it for few days? and we'll see if its really that bad, I doubt there is any pserver out there that have same features and antibot admins. Let's just hope it will be lag free and downtime free server like Venture.

We were working on it. Negotiating atm Hopefully they will accept. Althoug if it does work and they are willing to sell it and we buy it. There will be a clean whipe. Since allot of players wrecked there shit already lol
