Fly mentioned over at Salvation forums that there were a total of 17 guilds with more than 20 players and a total of 48 guilds altogether, if you count alts. That's good for competition.

I saw Zamalia early on but have not seen very many of them.

They should really setup a pvp place like Sam/DW where people go to pvp inbetween BA's

And would it be possible to have CTF on a alternate every hour w/ BA, so its like CTF at 2, BA at 3, CTF at 4, etc. Or is that uncangeable in the server?

It is possible but i understood that they hate ctf because it is campfest.

^Yeah but its not like BA is always totally fair
(+ Add the rooms inside where the other team cant see)

Also after a while your chance of winning the BA is basically gone, atleast CTF you can still win till the end

Also its much better group pvp, also helps a lot with the lvling cause of the mobs..

Private servers are legal? I don't wanna get into legal crap when It gets shut down..... Ive heard so many different things about private servers Its not even funny >.<

But If Its safe to go..... Ill give it a shot (Would be my first private server)

This will be my 4th private server attempt. ecsro, redster, bloody and salvation. There are so many differences. SRO grind is partially removed with higher XP/SP gain. You don't need to farm for a month on a 70 cap server like Salvation. The main thing you'd need is enough space to install the vsro files, as you can play both iSRO and a pserver. Not at the same time, but you can be active on both if you feel like it.

The biggest difference between iSRO and a private server is active GM's with events. In Salvation's case, I really believe Fly and Nightbloom are doing it for the love of the game. Considering all the posts and chats and complaints, I see no other logical reason - at least to me.

Why a 70 cap?

High level caps create a huge gap in the community between the start of the game and lowest sustainable party level. A 70 cap server would put the lowest sustainable party level somewhere around crabs, which is something people wont mind soloing to on a 4x solo exp bonus rate. After crabs, parties should be plentiful on a 70 cap legit server. A cap of 80 puts the party level at sungsungs, 90 puts it at the ice, and 100 kills low level parties altogether leaving only power-leveling as a viable way to level up. We want to avoid repeating the mistakes of iSro and that begins with a 70 cap that will not ever go up.

What is unique about Silkroad Salvation?

Silkroad Salvation aims at taking Silkroad to the next level. We want to eliminate the grind treadmill and turn silkroad into a viable game for both casuals and hardcore players. Our main focus is PvP content. We did this by moving Battle Arena onto a 2 hour timetable replacing the lame campfest of CTF. PvP players will not need to grind a second past 70. All there gear will be available via battle arena along with the tablets and elixers needed to pimp the gear out.

PvE players are not left out. We are adding mini-uniques all around the gameworld with drops worth fighting for. PvE instances such as Roc and Pharaohs Tomb will drop gear equivalent to the PvP gear. No matter your playstyle, you will be able to enjoy the game and be competitive.

Some unique things about Silkroad Salvation:

1. There are euro's a chinese characters. But only hotan, and the surrournding areas, such as takla, karakoam, and jangan are activated. This was done to bring people closer together, and enhance player interaction.

2. In an effort to make the game play more balanced, we've tweaked quite a few skills. For instance, oblation doesn't have an absorption buff anymore, bless spell only lasts 30 seconds, so on and so forth. A few Chinese skills have also been given extra buffs.

3. Jangan is now a 1-40 leveling area with both Chinese and European drops. Map ->

4. This server is based around jobbing and pvp. You get quite a bit of money with the increased trader rewards, and you can get gear by going to BA and winning coins.

Instructions:
Download the files. Unzip and put the salvation media.pk2 into your client folder and overwrite the existing pk2. Then put the salvation sro_client into the client folder and also overwrite the old one. Then launch the game. If you did everything correctly, you should be able to get onto the log in screen.

Me thinks I might comment on nearly every post from this thread, and I would like to begin with yours "Tasdik", first of all I want to say that I am in disgusted, appalled, and several other adjectives that you did not direct me to this thread earlier (j/k j/k).second of all... awesome, im so glad I jumped a bored I love this server and everything its got going, if your an old school player and do not at least try this server out, you are a dummy and a bot (j/k [but seriously] j/k. I am not saying delete or sell or stop playing your isro character because sometimes its kinda fun to go back to the original and check out whats going on, but gentlemen and laides do your self a favor and check this server out.
