I made a mistake on my ISRO character of making an int hybrid instead of a str one. I've gotta tell you, everyone says str hybrids are terrible, but there are ways to make up for your loss, it's possible to be better than pure str (And you don't have to be too rich to do it either).
You have a character, you made him some sort of hybrid because you were afraid you might become too weak if you don't have enough int or str, or some other reason. Then you learn that str/int is better/stronger than the other. "I want to be better!" You say, so now you start adding 1:2 str:int/int:str because you don't wanna take that big of a risk. Now you're lv 3x and a hybrid, and you know you aren't very good. But you don't want to go through all that leveling again!
Does this sound like you? If so, THERE IS HOPE! Take off all your clothes and accessories (In safe zone of course), and check your int and str. Subtract 19 points from your int in your mind. If that value is within 35 (Maybe even 40 (Technically speaking, you can actually have up to 55 points (And with 9D release, 66 points))) point of your level, then you are ok!
What you have to do, is switch to blade. You see, blade breaks the chain, so to speak. Hybrid strs do the same amount of crit damage as a pure str. However, hybrid strs also do more damage. The thing that classically makes hybrid strs worse, is the lack of physical defence and hp.
BUT! With blade, your physical defence is OVER-compensated, and your hp is made up by the block.
People always say blades do low damage, but now you will have higher damage, without sacrificing crit damage. And I can tell you this: There's a 99% chance you won't die in pvp.
The only way you can die is if you lag up and some nuker kills you or something, besides that, it's REALLY hard to die, seriously.
The way to get better than a pure str is to get gear with a str bonus that is higher or equal to the ammount of int points you added. This way, you are equal to a pure str. Also, many blades chose armor or protector to fare better in pvp versus a str. The thing is, this opens them up to being killed by nukers. The chances of this are really low anyways because of shield and high hp, but it's possible. You should chose PROTECTOR, because this way, your int makes up for the lost magical damage, and you will have higher phys protection than garments.
If you wish, you can chose garments because of it's speed and mp bonus, as well as it looks cool. But protector works well with your build.
Here are the skills you should get by lv 80:

You don't necessarily have to get all the skills, but you should aim for those masteries. You can also max out ice if you wish, but when the 90 cap is released, there could be some trouble.
Now I will take the liberty to answer 2 questions before you ask them:
Why do I have to be blade? Can't I be effective as a glaive?
You don't HAVE to be blade, but blade hybrids just work. Higher damage than usual, and the lack of hp is made up for by the block. Glaive doesn't work as well, because it's hybrid DOESN'T hit as high on a crit as a str does. This is because the glaive is so naturally physically strong, that loss of str points will lower its damage.
Can I be bow?
Hybrid bows aren't that good in pvp. Why is this? Because there is no defence. You are living purely off of your hp. You will die most of the time, but if you have a passion for bows, go for it! But I've gotta tell ya, PURE str bows are alot better than hybrid ones. However, hybrid bows are better and more common than hybrid glaives. This is because bows technically are hybrid weapons, a hybrid bow's crit damage is a bit bigger than a pure str bow's. This is because bow's physical damage in the first place is lacking, and along with higher crit damage, your basic damage will be higher too. For now, blade hybrid is better than bow hybrid, but when new skills are released, bow hybrid will be good too (But blade will still be better because of block).
