so.. your basically saying that most people that think of people as noobs, are noobs themselves.. but that this is what they should do? Don't write things that contradict each other, you'll confuse the "noobs"

Basicly people that call other people noobs are mostly noobs themselves, but people are generaly noobs anyways.. so which ever way you look at it people are generaly noobs, so if you look at them as thought they are noobs you will never be disapointed.

You gotta be considered as 1337, and not consider yourself 1337, cause people will think you are a noob. (Not what is written above but to give you an idea if you don't know how to 1337speak)

wow I was just in the worst mujigi party I have ever been in. Why was it terrible......because powerleveled char's suck!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much my dear, I was in that party as tanker and am full legit since Babel started. Vuckoo leveled me up for 30% of a level bcse I was in his academy but further of that I had never a powerlevel. Now if you have problems with a badly running party why don't you post it ingame? You and Witch were asking completely different things to the tankers, made us running around like mad dogs, Witch screaming that he would kick out that stupid tank that wasn't doing exactly what he wanted and you screaming because level 40 tanks can't aggro 10 mujigis/ujigis at the same time...

Dude, you think you are gOd. I just hope that all players having a bad party don't post on this forum.

lol, yep. If I wasn't in that party the other day, then I was in it's clone.

And of course it was all my fault for being a chicken tanker apparently. lvl39, 9 gap = crap armour @ Mugijis. = 3-4 mugijis hit me at the same time = dead no matter how good the cleric. Hell, i've been critted for 4k there (only have more if vital increase is on). And am I sitting around doing fkin nothing. NO. But hey, I'm chicken.

I was taunting as much as I could...and then trying to save the wizzy's pathetic ass while they go and aggro/tank every fkin thing in site, and and and...my fault for not getting in there and saving them. Noooo, leave the one's I'm tanking to sprint assault the one you just CAN'T run away from so my taunt would actually work, and then, the one's I were tanking now run over to the cleric and smack him around! You just HAVE to tank it then blame the tankers for meh. I'm ranting. Feels better off my chest anyway.

Gah! Plvling sucks balls. GROW SOME AND LVL UP IN A GRINDING PARTY

If you aren't abble to tank decently then don't come. Nuff said. The pt giant was getting attacked by you and yet it came on me. Obviously, you can't handle him, and thus you were just fighting him to show us that you were doing something, without really using taunt.

Who are you?

Kewtie.. i don't think a rogue can do a "job" in a lower level party.. people aren't just active enough / smart enough to do it. Tanks can attack a few mobs and keep aggro on them.. They can't handle mobs running towards the party 3 or 4 at a time.. they get afraid and run off.. or attack 1 and expect the rest to die or something!?

Yes a rogue can lure mobs with fast shot to tanks so that they can taunt... Do they? no.
thus the party dies and you get blamed for it.. i've seen it many times.
It's just pointless going rogue if you're trying to be in party play from what i've seen.
(on hera we have.. 1 rogue in our guild. and he's lvl 5x and solo's alot, when in parties he plays cleric)

IMO it's the fault of you trying to play rogue in a party when you very know.. it's just a waste of space?

But, yes people who just get power leveled usually suck.. And you end up yelling at them for a day or two.. or a week.. or you end up hating them and never being in their parties.. Not much you can do to avoid it.

(this is innocent btw hi :)

Sounds more like you have some really bad tanks, and possibly the rogue you mention doesnt know how to play his build in a party play, or maybe not at that point in levels. We've had a few rogues before in parties luring and playing their builds correctly, and they were hardly a waste of space. and Yes, this is before 5X and higher. And while I've seen some ppl who join Party that tank like you mention, running around the party with the monsters following till a Higher level aggros. But Especially in my guild and in the union we have tanks who know how to use taunt, and how to handle a lure of more then 2 monsters. People are always so quick to pin blame on a person or build in the pt.

Its always the tanks' fault, no its always the cleric's fault, no the rogues are useless, no the wizard sucks, etc. That cleric can only be as good as the tanks, and vice versa. A Wizard cant do well if the tank wont attack the monsters it should, and all the Ints will die if the wizard starts going Rambo-Wizard mode and draws a bunch of party mobs from behind into the group of INTs in the pt. While a rogue can over lure and pull too much, he will also be blamed if you have a tank like sirslayer has mentioned who doesnt pull the monsters before they hit the INT players. Now yea, there are many scenarios, this is just a general example. You're either strong or weak as a group, if people put half the effort they put into blaming people for how they play their builds into learning how to play their own rather then say...oh i dont know...get powerleveled, We'd have many more functioning parties in Venus, and in every server.

I was posting and crafting a witty reply to defend the use of Rogues in a party and then I saw HTVHitokiri post and hit delete as he pretty much said it all. A rogue in a party is the same as any other class. Either you know how to play it properly or you don't. If they aren't luring big mobs or dying, it's because they haven't received the proper buffs, that's not their fault, the tank and the cleric should know what they need if THEY know what they're doing. Needless to say it comes down to learning to how to play your character and not being plv'd which is what the start of this thread was all about.

But I'd like to add, since I cam to Venus, I have tried to discourage power leveling for that very reason. The fact of the matter is, it will never be erraticated. It's something that Joymax implemented into the game and ppl exploit it for everything they can, just as they do with everything in this game. There are more cheaters, than there are regular hard working players.

Think back in the days of good ole NES. The only way to get cheats back then was to subscribe to nintendo power magazine. Bot's wan to make their 50mil a week plvling. Plays want to level fast. For what reason they want to lvl fast, I have no idea. Plvling a chinese char? who cares, not much knowledge needs to go into any of those builds, they were designed as solo chars. Euro chars however were not designed for soloing. They were integrated as team players. Everyone hears of the euro power these chars have but the power comes from a team. Not a solo euro. I've spent the last month trying to teach power lvld players how to party play in the sung's, penons, mujigi's, Pegs, you name it. After a while of ppl not listening it gets frustrating. I learned euro party play from some of the best players in the game, and I try to pass on that knowledge to other players. It might be something they can only learn it time, or maybe they should delete their char and start a chinese char.

The fight against plvl will never be won. You can only hope that some of those plvl players have an iq > 10. Otherwise, you can just enjoy the euro noobfest and be more selective about who you party with.

i learned the basics of partying in 20 mins at dow gema, the day euro came out and every one in the party went wild and died, told them what they should be doing they did it we all lived, some people take longer to get what they are supposed to, I had never played a mmorpg before this aside from runescape that i hated in less then a day, and had only the sro websites euro preview to go on what the roles were, and it worked, that day we kept the party going untill we did all the cerb quests and killed cerb, it was so fun, when euro first came out there were tons of parties even on pacific, untill some moron got the bright idea of trying to plvl now that there were party creatures to kill.

No, you probably just think that you learned the basics in 20 min at dow gen, when you really suck like the rest without realizing it.
