There's a ton of bards. Or wizzy's with bard subs.
depends on what lvl. PEGS and Guards lack bards. no bards at all. I haven't played my wiz main for ages, because I'm barding all the time.
And some bard subs have only the name of bard, met a bard sub today with only moving march, that is uber stupid
I disagree. A subclass is not meant to be fully farmed. I have a cleric subclass, but is in no way farmed enough to cleric in my parties. I don't care to farm up sp for buffs or all the healing skills. The ones that I use in pvp are farmed enough to be used in pvp, but other then that, I am useless as anything more then a backup cleric in a party while the main is either dced or dead. xP

There is a difference between a fully farmed subclass and a Wizzard/Bard that has only moving march from bard. the first is a very cool the second is extremely stupid

a wizard would only need noise and march. why would they waste sp on more things if they need it for wiz skills?

So you would say that someone who plays a pure build with no sub even more stupid, right?

of course not, but if you use your sp to level bard sub why not invest in the mana recovery skill ? You are a wizard you can empty your mana in 1min flat. That is my opinion of course.

wizards use their most mp-consuming spells only when they are in a pt or plvl - and there you have bards to heal it. when a wizard is soloing mp pots are enough, and mana cycling yourself is just too troublesome.
but still bard sub needs very little sp to make it useful in a pt. you can even go investing only in moving march, mana cycle and guard tambour, dance of magic and hit march.
