This so called war against bots on SRF brings a lot of turblence on the fora. Look at all the locked topic and the load of extra flame wars. What is this bringing us?
PS: Dont start to call me a closet botter, I totally agree that the botters should just get banned for life from these fora!

I agree, this witch hunt has made this an ugly place. I just hope it calms down soon. I am tired of all the active posts being name calling and asking for "proof".
What happened to being a community? Bleh, just hoping this will all blow over soon. I really do not think this was what the Mods were going for when they decided to start this "War on Bots".

Its very intresting stuff going on agree, but the way it goes is too aggresive imo. Everyone gets his e-c*ck hard on exposing botters. So a lot of people will do everything to expose a botter. IMO a fora is to chill out and share opinions and knowledge. Not a place to rip eachother off. Banning and finding the people who deserve a ban is the work of the moderators/administrators not the job of the users. Let the users do the work of the staff is very unproffesional imo.

the initial rage will abate. it will calm down once people realize that this policy isn't gonna go away. i think we'll get rid of a lot of the closet bots, and after that, there'll be a more steady, managable flow.
but please don't use this forum as the grounds for these debates, use GD.
