Satman says whaa ? Since when did you start playing DA:O ?! without telling me -_- EDIT: Quote: I just heard about this game and i cannot wait for it to come out You do realize that's it's actually an expansion pack not a new game ? You just sound like it's the first time you see it.

they plan on nothing but expansions for the next 3 years.

3 years for expansions ? The game came out in November. They said there will be 2 years of DLC's for DA1. Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 will be out by the end of 2011 or in the first quarter of 2012 if there is a delay. So before that Biowere can make 2 expansions in 2010 and one more before DA2 in 2011 + the DLC's. After that DA2 will have it's DLC's and packs...

Will you be able to use your previous saves in the expansions or do I have to make a new one?

I've read in an interview with a Bioware guy that you can still import your character even if you haven't finished DA:O yet. Doing that will have the game somewhat auto-decide how the game ended for you, though.

satman83 wrote: I would rather used finished game save, that way my character will be at maximum From what I've read, it wouldn't matter as you will start at a certain level whether you're making a new character or not. They're also planning to allow players to re-spec their old characters once you use it to play Awakening.

Yep, just started, still running around in the beginner zone pretending to help some mofo escape. Elf Male Mage.
With the expansion coming, I'll probably be just playing this.

I'm almost done with my first DA:O run. After this is done, I'll run it again on nightmare. All before the the release of awakening I hope.

Nightmare isn't really as hard as one might expect, most of it is still soloable (with rogue, at least). Traps can hurt mighty bad tho; One trap killed 3/4 of my group once, hehe. Awakening looks good so far, just too bad it doesn't include my favourite evil biatch Morrigan.

You still have time to finish at least one save. I don't really care about the dragons, but from the trailers there is one big spectral one and a couple of medium sized drakes. I'm way more interested in the talking darkspawn, they are so freaking cool. http://uk.pc.ign.com/dor/objects/56427/ ... ml?show=hiEpic spartan kick ! xD

Haven't played much, reasoning: Of all the characters they brought back, they had to bring back Oghren...
