Bonus points which i know for are for *Growth Vials = added stats*
Will power is annoying >_< but to get it higher, just time, 1% per 10seconds or something
Each 10 lvl you get a new slot for a merc so by 50 you should have 8 mercs + your main :D

in addition to what ColourBlind said:

bonus points :
With every level you recieve one Bonus Point and one Skill Point. Growth Vials require 1 Bonus Point and will increase a random stat. Skill Books can be used to increase a Magic Skill by using one Skill Point.

Will:
many actions in atlantica requires certain amount of will to complete like : teleporting, sharing info, giving gifts, eating food,at low lvl sending maills requires will too , etc.

storage:
Items can be stored at the Warehouse in Rome .Once you hit lvl 20 you can directly teleport to Rome.

Mycenae with DNG, join us there if you play. And nuke, a blue name means you got to level 20+ in the first closed beta, and stayed throughout the 3 betas.

This game is amazing
I've been playing it since the very firts beta test and I totally love it.
Level is WAY faster than SRO, and there are so many things to do... The item enchantment system is easy to use and with some patience you can get very powerful stuff without spending billions in it. PVP is great there too, the battles get more and more astrategic as you progress since you can recruit many mercenaries.
The recent updates added much content and I can't wait to see what the future "100 vs 100 tactical battle" update will look like.
If I hadn't started to play SRO long before I tried Atlantica I guessed it'd have been my main mmo right now.
Give it a try, it's worth it :D

btw I play on Thebes, my char is called Kalaran if you need anything ^^

how exactly do you learn new skills? i'm lvl 41 atm and i only have Lightning spear on my spearman,
only wildshot on my gunner, only freezing axe on my viking, and only silence on my archer! the only mercs i have with more than 1 skill are shaman (life blessing / hex of darkness) and monk (holy guard / protection) help pls, im such a nub :(
if it's by using skill books, then at what lvl and which skills should i learn? should i plan ahead?

btw lvls are Spearman 41, Spearman 40, Gunner 40, Archer 39, Viking 39, Shaman 37, Monk 36, and i will recruit another Shaman i guess to complete 8/8

You learn new skills using books, as you seem to know already. The D-grade mercenaries, like swordman, spearman, etc can't learn many different skills and you don't need to worry if they have only one skill.

However, consulting the Mercenary Info in the Game Info menu will show you all the skills each type of mercenary can learn. For instance your swordman can learn the skill "Dark Seed", which can be used for a combo when you pile it with the Shaman's skill "Hex of Darkness".

Once you know the skills your mercenaries can learn (and once you have read the descriptions, as some skills are main only !) you can use the market in towns te research the skill books you need.

My swordman knows Flame Sword and Dark Seed, my gunner Wild Shot and Deadly Shot, etc.
Here is a very useful website dedicated to Atlantica Online where you'll find plenty of info on the mercenaries and skills -> Atlantice Online Players

sry for double post.

someone please be so kind to help out a poor noob. :P

1) money making
i've read some money guides and they all mention 95+ quests and npc goncourt.
unfortunately, there's a book open/trade limit of 300 making it a pain in the ass to make money all day long, when those 300 can only be done in 10 minutes.. so, any other good ways to make money? maybe some good places to farm items above 250-500k? btw, i'm lvl 47.

2) equipment
i'm currently lvl 46 and i'm still using +8+9 equipment lvl 25 which seem to be even better than some lvl 50 +4's. is it a good idea to save money by doing this? or does wearing lower lvl equipment have some kind of negative effect?

3) growth vials
is grinding the only random way to get them? or is there a specific vial hot spot to farm on?

thanks alot!

(except Goncourt)money making for your lvl 4x - few ideas:

- if you lvl up you are able to open again another 500 (books, boxes)
- do free leagues and exchange fame points with NPC Pointry in Rome
- hunt old treasure maps / ornate treasure maps
- do the new cultural quests daily (they are marked with blue in quests list)
- at your lvl you can redo the Beast trainer quest.
- buy low and sell high (auction house will help too) .
- while afk do fishing or other craftting - to get proffit with these you need to invest a lot tho to obtain proffit later - and also this proffit will depend on fluctuating prices from market.
- rob a bank

lol while sro is BOTroad online , atlantica is business online :D

--------------

equipament:

The difference between low lvl and high lvl equipament is magic defense.
So no matter how high you enchant your lvl 25 clothes, their mag def remains the same. This thing does not apply to weapons - so a lvl 25+8 weapon can be better in all ways than a lvl 50+4.
If your mercs dont suffer much from magic damage then you can keep your low lvl clothes.

Take care that in free league equipaments enchants are nerfed ; so lvl 25+8 weapons/clothes have the stats of a 25+4 in free league - or somthing around that.

-----------------------------------
to obtain growth vials you can :
- open commodity boxes
- open old treasure maps
- join guild meetings and get friendship boxes.

maybe there are more ways but this is what cross my mind right now :P

lvl11 archer name: Ragadozo

This is an awesome game ! Actually the first MMO, where its fun to grind

also, could you tell me, why I doesn't find any items , when I click on search? (I am pretty sure there are items on the market, because the "rates check" shows them )

Either Use *category* then select tha item you want from tha right side of it which normally should be a dropdown list or write what you need in *search* then also use tha same box where the drop down list is.
