I'm 41 and I only finished the College and Companion questlines. Too much distraction and some powerleveling.
And I got my ass whooped on multiple occasions as a mage in robes on Adept. But in any Elder scrolls game, you achieved a godlike status after a while.
More things to do for you X-Lax
-Companion questline -Doing all the quests for the Daerdric princes -Go have fun with the thieves guild -Go on a random exploration stroll -Make a new character

Got the Storm Caller shout a couple of days ago. Tried it out inside the moment I got it. It didn't do anything special - just a loud shout and some fancy effects. With a 5 minute cooldown, I thought it was useless. Then I used it outside today just for kicks and holy shit it started storming. Not sure how that helps me but it's awesome.
That shout makes lightning strike down on enemies that are nearby, for example when you´re fighting a dragon, and you use that shout, lightning will hit that dragon and **** it up big time.
I´m currently on the main quest, just found the Elder Scroll for getting the Dragonrend shout.
Loving the soundtrack!

I'm having a lot of fun doing the Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood quests at the moment. Joined the Stormcloaks and finished that questline - Awesome, until the end, which was rather anticlimactic.
I think I found the best legit gold way in the game, not sharing too .

No, I will not tell you about visiting the dragon stone locations to find quick dragon kills and loot them for their 1k+ worth of value. Don't ask again >.<

Step 1: Start cranking out iron daggers. With vendor bought mats, it's around 56 gold a piece. Step 2: Go to vendors and buy empty soulgems (quality: common or lower). Step 3: Obtain the banish enchantment. Step 4: Go out to the while and fill all the soulgems you can find. If you're lazy, give the soulgems to a companion and give him or her a weapon that casts soultrap. Step 5: Enchant the daggers with banish. Step 6: Don your clothes that have a bonus to haggling or gob a potion if you have them. Step 7: Sell all the dagger. Usually an iron dagger is sold for 10'ish gold, now they're around 500-600 a piece.
And at the same time, you'll level up smithing and enchanting. I did it with filled soulgems to level my enchanting so I didn't really make much of a profit, but that wasn't my goal.
On another note who is still legit ? I am already thinking the things I want to do once I create a legit character but I am having a hard time liking any other build, current is a bit too good ( enchanting, heavy armor, conjuration, destruction, bit of restoration ).

As long as you don't cheat, use console commands or obvious flaws, everything is legit.
There is nothing wrong with casting my destruction magic for free and being nearly immune to damage (80% physical reduction, 75% magical resistance).
What I wouldn't do is abuse the smithing/enchanting/alchemy looping. The problem here is that you can fortify crafting skills and loop them and obtain gear that makes you ridiculously overpowered.
Spoiler!
Max out enchanting, smithing and alchemy. And the weapon/armour style of your choice.
Make a set of gear that increases your alchemy. Use that set to create potions that increase you enchanting ability. Use the potions and then make a better alchemy set. Now repeat this cycle until you have the best alchemy set there is.
Next make the best enchanting and smithing potions you can find. Use the enchanting potions to make a smithing set.
Make a set of Daerdric heavy armour or dragon light armour and daerdric weapons of your choice. Put on the smithing set, gob the smithing potions and improve your gear to a godlike status. Next gob your enchanting potions again, and enchant the gear/weapon with whatever you want.
I maxed every skill in the game with the console since I wanted to do all the master quests and destruction was taking a bit too long for my liking ( was 7x when I did this ). I however still run around with straight from vendor ebony armor and my hp is debuffed to 300, important to note that I still take almost no damage with no buffs which tbh I don't love, making a glass light armor set tonight to remedy that a bit.
Regarding alchemy I have no clue of how it works, 100% ignorant when it comes to it but that is on my short list of stuff to learn about.
edit: finally got it.
Spoiler!
Going to use code to craft the weapons though, don't feel like waiting til some more of those things pop up. You can get the mats for it by completing the museum quest in dawnstar, I think that's the name of the town anyways.

ame just got so interesting with the introduction of common dragon hunting, Thief Guilf and the Dark Brotherhood(and Stormcloak). Also Riften is freaking awesome, I finally say an Argonian at the bar. The game should have more Argonians and Khajit... I've met a Wood Elf, many Dark Elves and Nords.
P.S: Anyone has done the quest where two Redguards come in Whiterun and ask if you've see that one chick. Where's that bitch?

Been playing a little bit and I was wondering if it has fast travel? I remember Oblivion having that but couldn't get it to work so far. Could be because I was in a dungeon thingy but yeah...
I'm a redguard! and that's about all I know x) haha

If it doesn't work, it will tell you why. You can't fast travel to locations you haven't gone to before (it will ask if you want to put a marker there in that case) and you can't travel when enemies are nearby. If the latter happens, and you've checked all around for enemies, look up, a dragon is probably stalking you. (This has even happened in Riften to me, and yes, I do mean inside the actual city.)

You forgot that you can't also tp from inside dungeons or certain locations like houses, actually I think this is the case with all indoor locations.
On another note that ahole Esbern isn't working for me properly, since I met him he's been a pain. When I had to escort him to riverwood this whore walked all the way, I just left him and met him there a couple of days later.
His voice just doesn't work and he straight up stop functioning half the the time, a quickfix for this for me has been to quicksave right after each dialogue option and reload but I still feel like I am missing out on a lot as he should be explaining about how the entire blade/dragon thing was in the past.

Random share but my shouts are now bound to c, have used them before this about 5 times but is now a fairly normal part of my rotation. I also tried binding inventory, magic, and stats to o p [, this to speed up dual weapon wielding equip and rare spells but I think is a bit too late for that, too used to the tab system by now. Shame you can't actually bind your currently equipped setup as I would love to run around dual wielding more now that I switched to melee, but due to equipping being a pain I am stuck using 2 handed weapons.

So I rent a room at the Inn in Solitude, go to bed. I wake up, and my screen is all blurry. I'm like "kk wtf gonna restart the game". Quickly enough, I notice a shadowy figure in the corner of the room. Farking Dark Brotherhood.

Have you tried using favorites and hotkeys? When selecting/hovering over items/spells, you press F (default) to add them to your favorites. To access your favorites, press Q (default). While favorites is open, hover over any of the items/skills and press 1-8 to hotkey them.
Using the hotkeys, the game doesn't know which hand you want the weapon/skill equipped, so it keeps the following rules: Spells are on Left Hand One-handed Weapons on Right Hand Pressing the same spell will equip it on the Left Hand then the Right Hand. Pressing the same weapon (provided you have two same ones) will equip one on the Right Hand then the other on the Left Hand. Shields are always on the Left Hand.
Say you have the following hotkeys: [1] Flames [2] Healing [3] Iron Sword x2 [4] Iron Dagger x2
With no spells/weapons equipped: Pressing 1 puts Flames on your Left Hand. Pressing 1 twice puts Flames on your Left Hand and then your Right Hand. Pressing 1 then 2 puts Flames on your Left Hand then changes it to Healing, with your Right Hand still empty. Pressing 1, 1, 2 puts Flames on both Left then Right, then changes Left Hand to Healing.
Pressing 3 equips Iron Sword on your Right Hand. Pressing 3 twice equips one Iron Sword on your Right Hand then the other on your Left Hand. Pressing 3 then 4 equips Iron Sword on your Right Hand then changes it to Iron Dagger, with your Left Hand still empty. Pressing 3, 3, 4, equips Iron Swords on both Right then Left, then changes Right Hand to Iron Dagger.
Pressing 1 then 3 equips Flames on Left Hand and then Iron Sword on Right Hand. Pressing 3 then 1 equips Iron Sword on Right Hand and then Flames on Left Hand. You end up with the same set-up as pressing 1 then 3.
If you want Iron Sword on Left Hand and Flames on Right Hand, you'd have to open your Favorites menu and do it from there.
Thanks that's rather helpful, I remember reading somewhere about the double tapping for dual wielding/casting but I had forgotten all about it, however I just tested this with my legendary weapons and it doesn't work; each legendary weapon takes a slot in your inventory like so:
sword A ( legendary ) sword A ( legendary )
instead of
sword A ( legendary ) x 2
this somehow ends up creating a behavior that to sum it up results on wiping the bound key all together. So if I bind those swords to say 5, pressed that twice, it would remove all the equipped weapons and wipe whatever was on 5, in this case sword A x2 ( if you favorite only one of said sword A in your inventory only one will register on the q list, so you have to favorite both to achieve the desired x2 status but once you do that the wipe happens ).
I guess I'll need to craft normal weapons for dual wielding which is a bit disappointing but at least I can now finally dual wield with more ease.
edit: further testing revealed that once you favorite both they become a stack of 2 as they should be in the first place but once you equip the stack they split again, going to test this with 3 weapons of a kind to see what happens, hopefully only 1 splits from the group.
results: didn't work, the stack splits still.

The blades are douchebags. You'll know what I'm talking about if you finished the MQ.
