I fail to see what Wabbajack has to do with the Dark Brotherhood.

It's the best guild quest line but just like the others, it was way too short.

Go to Solitude, wander around til you see a crazy guy talking about his master being missing. Do his quest line. Pretty funny, and the wabbajack may just be the funnest item to use in game.

Just killed my first non-story line dragon all by myself. I kited it around a huge lake for 30 odd minutes and used the water to evade it's attacks. I'm a mighty level 5 god ^_______^

It depends on the dragon you ran into. My first one was hard as hell. Took almost 30 minutes to kill. Second one i met died after like 2 shouts and some fire...

Dark brotherhood gloves kinda suck. It's just a 100% increased in one-handed attacks for sneak attacks only, I'd rather have the flat 25% from nightingale armor with a 40% one-handed ring it's very very rare that I can't kill anything with one sneak attack back stab. And if I can't it's usually too strong to be killed with a 30x anyways and I have to whack it a lot of times so the 25% is useful.

A lot of them, yeah, but some of them are really good. The ratio is kinda bad though.

Define empty, please.
Empty as in too little story, or what do you mean?

So true. Like I just see a path forking into three or four ways. Can't help it, have to see whats at the end of them. :(

I also have a sudden confiendence when fighting. I pretty much wreck everything now. I used to run away from dragons (me no likes yelling and stormy weather) but now I fcking chase them down. 8)

Spoiler!

It's kinda funny how dragons are the worst fight in the game, 10k on fire/frost resis and it's over.

PS3 patch bugged it out and now all resistances and weakness are no longer recognised. Dragons and mages are now hard again.

I hated oblivion (also hated fallout 3, probably just don't like first person RPG) but the nerdgasm made me feel obliged to buy Skyrim. Plus I can't win gamer of the year without owning Skyrim.

I just bought it now and i'm downloading. I thought it was going to take forever but at 5.8mb/s I just got through 8% of the game while typing this.

The zero punctuation review made it sound like magic was underpowered. Is that true? I was planning to go magic-leaning as melee in first person makes me rage.

You can play in third person pretty well, with just the occasional first person perspective. And since you can change between them by simply using the mouse scroll, it's really easy.

Hey what kind of enchantments are you guys putting on your weapon? I found an ebony sword at lvl 13 and I'm trying to decide if I should wait to enchant it or enchant it now. I know I wanna wait until blacksmith is a bit higher before refining it. Once you refine it you can't do it again right?

Fire dmg? Or magicka regen maybe on the wep?

Use cold or shock and when you are finally able to, enchant both, for a bonus on both effects. Having a paralysis weapon in your kit is pretty nice as well.

Regarding magic, it is the strongest and most viable form of combat til very late game and even then it barely manages to lose the spot and this is damage wise only as magic provides pretty good cc/fighting prowess throughout the game ( investing points in cold and shock isn't particularly beneficial if you want to save perk points ).

If you are just starting I would recommend not using console cheats for any advantage and race wise going dark elf.

So Ice/Light is better for weps? I have 3 diff weps each with elemental dmg 15 and their respecting effects. Fire burn additional dmg, ice reduce stamina, light reduce magicka.

I can't put two enchantments until later. My enchantment is only like 30 right now. Not sure if I should wait and save the ebony sword until later or pimp it now.

Pimp it now, you will find many more on your travels and I would probably enchant it with shock if I could only pick one. Casters are by far the most dangerous opponents you will run into.
