Holy greasefuck, I'm not the one who usually likes Single Player games, but this game looks insane. So gonna buy.
Same here....its like....they looked inside of my wet dreams and finally made a game with zombies that is so awsome i can get hard while playing it and be okay with it

I think i might get it....been looking for a game like this anyways i dont trust IGN or whatever if you really want to experience a game either buy it or rent it
I was VERY on the fence about the game as of late. Originally very psyched, all the reviews and even some gameplay made me unsure if this was a fail or not.
However, due to a recent birthday, a friend of mine bought it for me since I wasnt gonna buy it myself. And Im pretty happy with it.
The RPG elements are pretty interesting so far, 3 spec trees, picking items up for upgrading weapons and modifying them, each character fits in a sort of class too, but loosely.
Combat is fun, doesnt feel like im playing Left 4 Dead, which i was worried about. Weapons break eventually, flashlight is limited and then recharges, cant just sprint through the levels, the mix of fast and slow zombies helps make you unsure what to expect.
And its not too linear! You can explore quite a bit, side quests get you some decent stuff, but you can follow the main story instead. Im enjoying myself. Putting up a series of videos of my playthrough, ill get a link out when I have a few up to check out.
Id at least rent it to give it a try. Co-Op is fun too, a different feel running with 3 other people or searching a dark tunnel by yourself for sure.
Would anyone like me to record the game as I play it ( kinda like a walkthrough ) ? Have never done it and was thinking that could be an interesting thing to do.

I didn't have the game on release, so I didn't deal with the whole developer client thing, but I have run into no problems whatsoever on the PC version except for one thing. Trying to get up stairs sometimes. Some stairs in a few areas, if you don't go up them in the exact right way, you get stuck on a step, so annoying. Other than that, so far it's a flawless game.

Game has been glitch free for me so far but I don't have that many hours in it just yet ( got to the lighthouse not long ago ).

The only thing people are complaining about non game-breaking bugs. But there are bugs in all releases. They game runs perfectly for me i already have 40+ hours in it and several characters. This game is very very very fun imo, and has a lot of replay-ability. I've beat it and this game can have a long life if you keep playing with friends.
Though, DLC is always welcomed for even more gaming!
Wish they'd add an option to customize your character later on in the game. If they're trying to make it into an "RPG"-style game, that's one of the most basic options to include.
This game has gotten so many horrible reviews and complaints, and I am sooooo thankful I didnt listen.
This game is amazing, its intense. It reminds me of the Walking Dead show sorta. It starts with your Left 4 Dead type area with scattered slow zombies that you can solo and easily navigable areas. You walk around and beat the shit out of whoever, hardly get overwhelmed.
Well, as you'd assume in any Zombie movie, that wont be the case in the City. It is a whole different story there. Much tighter areas, filled with many more zombies. Not simply more Infected class ( your bumrush you type zombie) but also with special ones. Even if the special ones werent there, there are soooooo many damn zombies that you have to sometimes run from car to car, or run to a ladder and hope you make it. Yesterday I got up a roof to find 3 of them followed me up there somehow and I was quickly dead. The game takes a quick dive into absolutely intense.
I absolutely love this game. Ive run into one bug, of being flung from a door i bashed in, into the floor. That was yesterday. I got over it real quick. Id love if there was 0 bugs, but its hardly ruined the game for me. Weapon mods, DEODORANT BOMBSSSS aka your grenades, the combat system, the environments themselves, the way the zombies even die, its all been super awesome.
Co-Op is really where its at though for this game. Its much more fun to me.
Atm I think I am lvl 14? 30% through the main story. So far things seem to be damn repetitive.. I'm sick of these fetch quests.. and I wan't to fight an epic boss or something. Does it get better?
