Played for 2 months, stopped because I got bored, but recently I've watched some youtubers saying it's becoming p2w. Not sure if this is true but that rly suks if true because I liked to popped back in every now and then.

It has, to some extent.
Not quite AA levels of pay2win, but it's creeping up on us more and more.
Tbh, I just really want server merges. Competition on Orwen is a bit stale atm.

This game is no doubt pay to win. I don't think anyone can deny that. As of writing this post, you can make up to 100m in silver a week by swiping your credit card, which costs about 150 USD. Yes, that's quite expensive but make no mistake, there are a lot of people doing this. 100m in silver is not the end of the world, but it's nothing to laugh at. Recently I've seen/heard people saying that you can easily make that in a day, which is true, but most people don't. If you go to some of the best grind spots in the game you make about 10m/hour if you're farming efficiently, which means you have to grind an extra 10 hours to make up the difference. (Don't even get me started on Artisan's Memory though, that shit is ridiculously p2w)
Personally I don't mind the p2w too much because I'm not in the top 1% of players. But I do feel bad for all the people that were at the top that are now falling behind because they can't afford $150 a week.

This. Orwen only has 3-4 guilds that can compete for the five territories and they just end up dodging each other every week. The competition at T1 is almost non-existent, from my experience about 1 in every 5-6 node wars actually involve warring. We're moving on to T2 this week, so hopefully there will be a bit more competition there.
