I'm now leader of the dark brotherhood but the quests are getting quite repetitive.. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy doing the assassinations, but will there be anything other than Nazir giving me contracts and Nightmother whispering that I have to talk to some contact and kill the target? Just wondering if this is what I'll be doing all the time or if there will be any more variety in the dark brotherhood quests..

I fell in love with this game. Since I last posted, I managed to put in 13 hours. It has literally been: wake up, work, home, skyrim, sleep.

My only gripe is the companion AI. I wish Lydia would stop disappearing and getting into farked up situations.

Last night I was completing the imperial questline and

Spoiler!

I noticed a chest on the ground next to him and it wasn't locked. I took the money inside and it did not say "steal" or increase my bounty. After I left my building I couldn't find Lydia -ANYWHERE-. I had to use the console to warp myself to her (not the first time she vanished) and she was in a prison cell. I guess they arrested her for my stealing?

Tonight i'm getting married. Not sure who to pick. I've trying to decide between Miuri (but I hear she repeats the same line if you complete her quest), Yolanda or whatever her name is (but I read she glitches a lot regarding a quest with a wedding ring?), or Camilla Valerius (but I read the elf ranger stalks her and enters your house. If you kill him apparently you can get a reward? I would do that but I am not sure if it would work and I might get a bounty).

I'm also not sure how their business works. If I pick Camilla, I would want to move her out of that trailer park but I don't know if she will still be able to generate gold?

Had to skip a mission through console command because of Esbern being bugged :( . (It's a common bug that lots of people have, I tried with tcl but still wouldn't work). No biggie because I apparently just missed having to escort Esbern back to Riverwood.

Aside from that, got almost full Glass set. :)

That's the one were you get him out of prison right, and the door wont open?

I just went outside and completed a side quest, then when I went back the door was open. :?

I downloaded a voice pack from him and that fixed it, think it was this one:

edit: removing the link I initially provided as it could be compromised but do a search since it is a simple file and it solved all funny business with him.

Yeah realized that after, the guide I followed told me do MQ202 + something other number so it skipped the whole thing. Whatever just missed a stupid escort quest.

Bought the game today... Never played the older versions..

Is it me or the map is not user friendly? I'm having trouble finding npcs... And I don't get the bar on top (middle of screen).

Any tips?

Nothing is user friendly, it's made for console games. Press 'j' and use the top bar to navigate to quest npcs and just memorize where shops are, it's pretty easy when you go a city once or twice. Top bar is basically showing what's in front of you with opacity showing how close you are to the thing. Just have the arrow directly in the center of the top bar and go straight, or clairvoyance your way to everything.

God dam that's overkill. I'm still on my first playthrough, and after looking at all the ways to go past legendary, I don't think I will make my gear past epic. That way it'll be a semi-challenge.

Is there a way to switch from bow to dagger without pressing 'i' or 'tab'?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but in your tab menu when browsing through weapons or anything else, you can "favourite" them, meaning you get quick access to them.
All items you put up as "favourite", you can find by pressing Q in game.
Now, in your Q menu, you can put numbers (1,2,3,4,etc) for quick access.
So if you put your dagger on 1, and your bow on 2, then you can switch from bow to dagger by pressing 1 while holding your bow, and switching back to bow by pressing 2 when holding your daggers.

Again, not sure if that's what you mean but that's how I quick-switch :]

Got the staff of magnus and am now the Arch Mage xD the funny thing is, guards still talk to me in a negative way about mages, for example: "seems the mages college is back to normal, if you could say such a thing for that lot".

The game is awesome so far, the only thing i need to learn is how to enchant stuff better and how to make stuff.

How high is too high? I want to refine my items, but I don't plan on using the potions abuse bug to create godly items. I'm still on my first play through and I want a semi-challenge. Is the first tier of Legendary too much or should I go for Epic, or is that still too easy and I should just stay with Exquisite.

Default highest available upgrades is what I use. You are basically fine as long as you don't use alchemy.

So I started on my second character who is a Knight-like Nord
But I can't decide what side to choose for the Civil War ;(
I am a Nord and want to promote Nord's well being
So can anyone answer me questions?
Which faction would be the overall better choice to promote Skyrim's welfare?
I did Imperials as a quest, so I also wanna know does Stormcloaks offer any valuable's?

For the consoles, would I be able to create a new character without erasing my previous one? Would the saves from both characters be pooled into the same load list, or would it be like Load Character->Load Saves from Character? Sort of like Dragon Age 2.
