What If I have money to be wasted? lol I actually think once I get my hdpvr I will play Mw3 some more. I don't particularly hate it, I just like bf3 a little more because even though there are still campers, there are significantly less. Teamwork is pretty mandatory, but it's beneficial in a big way so most people adhere to it. I only seem to have fun in Mw3 if I'm not playing seriously to win. Completely and 100% false. Camping is how you win at BF3. Find a second level in a building, find a corner, aim down sights, win game. Colonel(4) and I see campers like that, but not often. That kind of gameplay loses you the match in conquest and rush 90% of the time from my experience. Can't cap an objective if you're sitting in a corner. Communication + Teamwork makes bf3 the place to be for me. Very first match of Mw3 was NI***R screamed all match long by my entire team. I gave it till rank 20, but it still seemed like an "every man for himself" type of multiplayer and I got bored of that from Mw2. To each his own I guess.

even the leaderboards are broken on this game lol. kind of embarrassing that they can't even do that right but it has caused me to appear in the top 100 in kill confirmed both weekly and monthly. along with everyone else who didn't get reset..

Throwing knives fixed it. Otherwise people would get to a spot where it's pretty much impossible to get to the people to knife them. Seatown's "bridge" thing is a perfect example of that.
But I hate the sniper ones. Those ones piss me off.

Don't think so, I think Jug suit disables all further kill streaks.

Sigh, 6 matched played on PC... 2 wallhackers, 1 aimbotter (had two aimbotters yest too). lotsa lag compensation bullshit- as i'm hosting 90% of the game sometimes people are just unkillable.
I don't really want to buy a console just to avoid hackers really .. -_-'

I tried a Domination/Demo/Team Deathmatch. My overall k/d now is literally 3 deaths from being an even 1.0. That's saying something when my k/d in Bf3 / Halo is over 2.5 without having to camp it up.I generally good at fps. When I played mw2 a lot I went negative so few times that I think I have more in mw3. idk what it is. I can't play this at all. Going negative doesn't even bug me anymore in this, it's the not being able to play aspect. I get killed by ppl I can't see because they are prone or camping behind something. That happened in mw2 a lot, but It's easily worse in mw3. /rant over

i agree with joey. but i think TDM is easily the most campiest gametype to begin with, there's almost no reason to move in it.. besides to switch corners so when the guy that just died comes rushing in again he's looking the wrong way lol.
also think demo is kind of campy by design. domination.. not my style. easily spawncamped. i'd suggest kill confirmed, i've played a ton of it and i don't think camping is rampant there compared to demo or tdm at least.
curious though, what do you consider camping? in my experience a guy laying prone in some random ass corner is good for a pointless kill or maybe two, then you nade him or jump out at him and it's a done deal.

^lol'd. spot on with the death streaks, it's a joke. this thread is dead as was the black ops one once the game actually came out - but until my friend buys or drives an hour to borrow bf3 i literally have little else to play as i don't like single player games much, and i don't like to play MP games alone. so in the hopes of getting a discussion going.. this is starting to become not a common sight, but not a rare one either in our kill confirmed games. the reason? tactical insertion. before a good game was ~3500, now it's more like 4500-5000 simply because of it and our altered gameplay around it. it allows us to hold down pretty much any power area as there is two of us doing it, and it gets us right back in the action quicker. the result: more kills, more deaths, more getting tags (including our own), longer games, and thus higher scores per game. anyone who has played a decent amount of KC has run into at least one guy who will lay down a tac, stand on it, shoot into the sky and wait to be blasted. usually giving them a statline of like 3-23 with 4k score. obviously what we do is a bit different, we go for kills all the same, but we're not afraid of being overaggressive because we know we will be able to hold things down just fine even if we die most times. my question to you my fine silkroadforums friends - fair or foul? ever used tac insert as a team in KC? ever had it used against you in such a way? thoughts on tac insert in general? etc.

The ones that you described, that stand on a tactical insertion and then wait to die, those are retarded. What you're doing sounds completely legit though.

Haven't played a regular mode in ages so I never saw it happen but as Joey said, those retards who stand still on their own tac are obviously cheaters. Or well not really cheaters but total assholes towards their teammates, sure they don't give tags away, but they sure as hell don't collect any either.
