Dawhh, I want to play so bad, but I'm having a bug which as far as I've searched around google can't be fixed, it appears that whoever has it is doomed forever to not play the demo

Started to get used to it and i'm liking it a lot. Last Sniper round and my first assault round (unlocked 29 badges, like 6-8 with the gold trim, and 12000+ point round?!?!?!)

Dom, you are a beast at fps. If you're getting this, and I eventually maybe get it, I hope I never go against you.

When I first played it I thought, damn this isn't optimized, sluggish... Last night I figured out that somehow, probably few days ago fing with my psu, I had reset my overclcok back to stock AND my gpu overclock.. So instead of 3.6Ghz E5200 it was at 2.5Ghz, and my 9800GT was at 600/900 instead of 750/1000. HUGE improvement in the game after oc'ing them back up. Haven't had time to play much today, but once I started getting the feel for the controls it was awesome. Getting into a good squad can make it 400x more enjoyable too.

Dom, how do you rate the game in comparison to MW2? I don't really play FPS games for as long as I do MMORPGS, so when it comes time to buy one I just get the shiniest one.

If you played BF games before and only played on infantry maps or maps with no vehicle mods, you should get CODMW2. BF games can be really fun, but you have to play with a different mindset. Otherwise, you're just going to keep running into a tank and rage really hard after your 10th death in a row. If when you play MW2 you tend to be more objective base and play your assigned role, I think you would enjoy BF2. MW2 is fun when you just want to roll people like Rambo (CSS even more). BF2 is fun when you want to hide behind a rock with a sniper rifle for 15 minutes killing people as they run down a choke point.

All you do is kill people ethier way, defending or assaulting lol I hate assault's first gun to start with, its so ghey... for recon i really dont use anything other than M24, its my most played class so far. I really dont get that ball thing, but i think you put it on tanks and stuff to explode it right? The ball thingy is a UAV in a ball

Yeah, it will show units around the ball, however far you throw it whether its at your feet or chuck it as far as you can. I just played the demo a bit on 360, excited to get the game. on the first one, Id switch between Recon and Medic. It was so fun. Team play isn't exactly necessary, however if the other side is using it you'll feel the difference. I expect a couple of my usual people i play with to get it, so hopefully can have some fun as a squad

Thats for Sure. i felt like a Total nub because when I dled the DEMO, I had no Idea that I would be able to play Multiplayer Online. that was a big Shocker and I assumed they were NPC's Kiling me and i was like WTF why are these Npcs so smart >.< Then I checked the scoreboard and yea.. lol I felt like a Tard. Great Game. I love using the Defibrillator to kill ppl. Fav Class is Assault so Far though, but I'm still a little confused on how enemy spotting works. I'm assuming that's with Sniper, so anyone have any Tips? Sniper is running pretty close with Assault. But the First Sniper Tier is a Pain (single shot reload) The second is a little odd as well. I was very inaccurate when I swapped. Idk if it was due to lag or not though because I have a 20mb/s DL However Even Enemies standing still wouldn't Die. Combat Knifing is Fun as well. Especially out in the Open when you can see it as if your knife is sticking in their Neck or face.

I like the First one as well. The Single Shot is the only problem I have. Reminds me too much of the Artic Warfare on RSV2.

I've played the ps3 demo for over 16 hours the past week; this is the first Battlefield since BF2 that got me really excited. Preordering this after the weekend. All classes are so much fun, the map is great, it all feels very solid and all changes made from the older BF games seem very well implemented and worthwile.

I love this game. Love the M24 sniper rifle and have gotten bullet drop pretty much completely figured out. Still missing the really long shots though.

I completely agree with your views of current game development. Hoping Medal of Honor will pull through where BC2 and MW2 has failed. Sharp324 wrote: Nah console gaming is not the future, its always gonna lack compared to PC. And yeah im pissed off at it cause they are no better than Activision and their POS MW2. Yeah they come on, saying how its gonna be such a better experience than MW2 would be, that they would put work into PC, would be far more than a port. What do they do, they just gimp it in favor of the little retarded console kids. Definitely not jealous of any console, they are all 3rd class computers. Just sad to see devs wanting to do this in favor of kiddies. Your the fine offer of the ignorance and arrogance of console users. If you would of paid attention to what they said you would understand.

Want to level fast? Pick up Medic, and a squad which sticks together, and go around defibing people. It's insane, got an 8k round with only 5 or 6 kills.

If anyone is interested the Mobile HD5870 is loving Bad Company 2. G73 users are getting 55-59 average FPS with the latest ATi Catalyst 10.3 beta drivers. This of course at 1080p with the current demo's highest settings.
Also reported the retail game's high settings should be significantly higher so if you think your system is running good now, wait until then.
