I thought the game doesn't register it as a real fade if you do it in combo.

I'm new to this game. (I play on Cabal Global)

But i think all cabal games are the same.
My question is... how do i learn new skills?

And how do i put my stats on? Like ie Wizard and Archer...

It actually is quite boring. Over and over the same dungeons to make money and get a perfect set. Although, I think that to be an end-game player you need to be:
-170, which is max level (Quite a lot people is)
-Dual full transcender, which means you're fully skilled (Almost everyone is, since this is the easier goal to reach)
-Honour Rank 20, with its godlike stats (No one is HR20 -2billions honour points- in no Cabal version. AFAIK the highest HR reached so far is 15, by an European guy who has 200millions Honour Points, 1/10 of the max)

Pretty much what Mark said. Cabal doesn't have an end game. PvE and PvP-wise, anything a 170 can do a 150 player can do. Only difference is it's easier once you're 170.

There is sort of only one end game dungeon. You have to be level 125 to enter but its not like anyone from 125-170 can beat it. Your party needs end game gear or close to it, a party of mostly 170s, and coordination to get to the final boss. As far as I know, no one has even beaten it yet execept recently a party on the EU version.

There are probably over a hundred level 170s on the EU version but only about 30 per server on the NA version. There isn't really a real good reason to level up pass 150.

Earning titles is sort of the only real end game content right now because some of them will take years to unlock (over 3000 titles) and you'll really stand out if you stick around long enough to earn those titles.

Ex. Killing members of opposing nation

Lowest title.
Luminous / Stormy Gladiator (no bonus) - gained after killing 1 member of opposing nation

Highest title.
Luminous / Stormy God (Crit Rate resist +10%, Crit Dmg resist 30%) - gained after killing 500,000 members of opposing nation

Cabal gets a major update every 2 months so as a 170 player expecting end game content, all you can do is hope it's something that keeps you interested.

Lack of endgame content made me leave Cabal again.

From lvl 100 > 170 you'll be doing any of the below things.

* Exp on 2-3 decent spots on the entire map (lvl dependant).
* Go TG (nation war) for honour points (or exp if you have enough honour for your liking).
* Hang around on ch 24 and kill some people from the opposite nation. And if you're lucky, it'll escalate into a fun war.
* Hop channels while looking for bosses and spend 1-5 minutes on killing them and then you'll hop some more.
* Do B1F, B2F, VC, FT, FT2, FI solo or in a pt (depends on your lvl) while hoping you get the imba drop.
* CA for exp.

BTW the dungeons aren't really hard (except for FT2).
B1F > soloable from the start
VC > solable fairly fast (when you need to be there for the rank quest, you should be able to pull it off)
B2F > soloable at higher lvls with good gear (trolls are a DPS race, but without trolls most 150's can do it, if not earlier). This one used to be a moneymaker because you could get 7mil with hidden quests, but they changed reward from alz to honour thus people mostly run it for rankup quests.
FT > You'll duo this or solo provided you're 140-150 and not a sFS (imba equips exception).
FI > needs a pt to finish.
FT2 > Hardest dungeon and afaik no pt finished it (been out for a while though, thus could be changed).

Nope I might try it.
If I still have the problem I had in the reg cabal, I'm gone.
Doubt any of you could help fix my problem. (Not that you guys can't it's just that I've asked on the Cabal Forums already but no one can get me a solution that fixes it.)

If you wanna know about official server, there ya go.

Max level is 170, first 100 levels are mostly filled by quests, the other 70 are grind, grind, grind. It is quite hard to level after 150, I heard -I never reached 150, so I can't tell-.
Skills are flashy and very, very goodlooking, the best ones I've ever encountered.
This game, though, has also negative sides:
-it lacks of endgaming, since you just do the same dungeons over and over till you get a perfect set and the highest honour rank -the only two things never reached so far-
-it is lately filled with hackers of every kind: alz (gold)botters, simply botters, speedhackers and even A LOT of dumb scammers, tho this ain't a hack.
-it has some problems at each update <.<

The leveling after 150 isn't actually that bad. You still get about 10-30% per hour with the right party and the Nation War exp exchange really makes leveling a lot easier. I place most of my war exp on Honor Points so I'm not really sure about the exp but iirc, a single exchange would give you about 10% - so you can pretty much log in twice a day, for 1.5 hours max each and still earn 20% even after 150. And if that's not enough, there's always Chaos Arena and grinding off PF bosses.

Skilling is a bitch at first but it's a short passing phase - I got 2 transcenders so far and I'm not even that active since OGP holds events where you can pretty much go semi-afk and skill there all day (if you want).

The game isn't actually that filled with gold bots (at least in the US/Can version it's not) since they're constantly banned. On occasion you might see 1 or 3 gold bots running around in the entire map but they're all low levels - I mean level 1 to <40.

As for the endgame, it's mostly consist of PKing, war ch, Nation War, guild wars, boss hunting, high level dungeon runs, rare item hunting, and lots of drama - the game community sucks.

And update problems? Never had them.

The only downside I've experienced was being banned for a week because of a false-positive hit from either a faulty x-trap update or another faulty detection program from ESTsoft. I was supposed to be banned permanently but a number of players were complaining about random bans with no evidence at all to back them up so they eventually had to give in and let a few of us go. I even had to call their office for that. :banghead:

And as for GM presence and GM-hosted events, they do occur once in a while but seem to lessen day by day.

Are you still active?
I couldn't find a game that could replace Cabal to me, so I'm back after one week xD

But I guess that NA version is less known, thus less filled with hackers. In EU version there was a guy who was busted botting at 170 in FgR. (...)

About update problems..just read the European forums and you'll see loads of people having problems with this last update (mostly solved, but still GameGuard is being a £$&$%& sometimes).

Lol. We had those before. Some high levels even got themselves banned in the past because of their own screenshots. Yeah I'm somewhat active and might be more active during the next 2 weeks. AXP is coming and 50% increase EXP.

NEW UPDATE INFO:

-Altar of Siena B1F Dungeon (>135)
*Dungeon designed after MF
*Could be harder or equal to FT B2F
*From the looks of it, it's the only place where you can find SIG Metal Armors in NA Cabal

-Subpassword System
*You can assign a 4-digit combination + question for your character and items to prevent them from getting stolen or deleted in the event that someone is able to break through into your account. Unless they limit the number of trials you can do for a set amount of time, it'll only be a matter of time before they get in. Although counting from 0001 to 9999 must be a bitch without a bruteforce-like program.

-Soul Ability
*Gain AXP after 120 through leveling up. The more EXP you gain, the faster your AXP bar goes up. You can use the AXP gained to "integrate" a Soul Ability into your character making it (slightly) stronger.

-SIG Metal Armors
*Only the Martial and Battle looks decent. The Armor makes you look like a golden lobster.

---------------------------------
EDIT:
Meh....The Soul and Siena update deleted my Shinobi skin so now I gotta download it again..
So can anyone from EU Cabal please give me a link for the shinobi skin download? Because EU Cabal decided to be a prick and lock its forum from non-EU Cabal members again.

The link is somewhere in that thread =X
http://forum.cabalonline.com/showthread.php?p=386510

Thanks.

I'm sorry, but you won't be able to use Shinobi skin again since it is not updated and it'll result in a bugged client.
You can try with mbg8's skin, pretty similar to shinobi's.

http://rapidshare.com/files/247626426/N ... eIsRay.zip
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NQOH8MEG
http://www.sendspace.com/file/juyoo4

Use it only AFTER your client is updated.

Is that Nightshade?
(Just Checked, it is Nightshade)

Thanks. My skin looks weird atm since it does have shinobi skin on everything except the bottom UI and top left. I'll have to stick with Nightshade until rendermax revives himself from the dead and updates Shinobi.

And why does it seem like AXP is a useless piece of trash? Jesus christ, a level 1 Buff Potion can give better stats than them.

And the subpassword system sort of works. The "Forward 1 Hour" means I can log in and out of my characters without putting the passcode in for 1 hour but after that it'll have to ask again. The Item passcode however is a fcking joke. I tried selling my 7% Amp Gloves and Ring of Luck +1 to the NPC and they actually get sold (I retrieved them of course).

guys
i need to ask you something

i'm playing with friends
what's the best way for us to have fun?
can't we do like, dungeons from quests together? Can we only do the ones with cards?
And about grinding, what do you recommend? What kind of pt, etc... Also, can anybody explain to me how Chaos Arena works and how can we do it together and if it's any good.

We're just a group of 4 friends, we know each other irl and 3 of us including me are like brothers, but, since we don't go to the same school, we wanna keep in touch so we play while talking to each other on skype every night or so... Since we've been going out too much, we decided to stay home this friday night... Lol, don't really know why i'm saying this, anyways, if you guys have any advices in mind, please give them, we're all noobs (i'm the less noob and i know very little about the game xD)

Thanks in advance ^^

There aren't really many quests you can do together in Cabal because there aren't many quests once you get 100+. Once you get 65, you can do dungeons together.

Party setup doesn't really matter. Any class will do.

Chaos Arena is an instance where you and a few others go into an arena and kill alot of mobs until you die, time runs out, or you kill the final boss. Its the fastest way to level and you need a Chaos Arena key that corresponds with your level range.

If you want to have fun, go to Nation War together. Some of the 125+ instances are pretty good as well.

Ok I got a starterspack for cabal, I assume it's the cabal eu if there is still a difference in it. Also I have no idea if it will work on higher lvl accounts but basically it gives you some board to move around quicker and some kind of 30day premium.

If any of you cabal players want it just let me know o.O

/Edit: upon further inspection you have to fill in the code while creating an account so you can only use it on new chars. If anyone wants to make a new char and use it just let me know haha :P

Cabal Online has been the best MMORPG I've ever played, but I quit it for now because GM.com have become money-hungry, giving A LOT of advantages just to the ones who can afford to pay A LOT of money for CabalCash.

Every newstarter gets a 7 day premium. If you're skilled enough you can even reach Lv100 AND be farmed in that week only. You just need your PC turned 24/7 on. :p
Boards can be used since Lv20 (or 40, can't remember, tbh) and there are various types, most of which are not worth it. What you need is a White Board X-3 (buyable for 22 euros or about 200m on Auction House, AH) since it gives some HP/MP leech, the most important thing in solo-pve.
With the following update (should be in 5 months) prices on AH will drop because they will add a belt which also gives HP/MP leech.

From Lv80 you can also use a bike. There are 3 types of bikes: Blue bike, "cheapest" one that gives some defense and defense rate, RW3 which gives more def and def rate and allows you to use your warehouse (basically the SRO deposit in each town) wherever you are and Crystal Bike which can only be obtained during some events (there are very few around and they are account bound).

If you want to know more, feel free to pm me on XFire (you got mine) or just ask here. I'm just saying this, though: for how great it was for me, with flashy skills, helpful people (not everyone is, though :slap: )and rather simple and good gameplay, Cabal really lacks some endgame activity. What you only can do is running dungeons over and over (every each of them has been completed :/ ) and join Nation Wars at certain times (only 95+ for true wars). Most people who are capped just do this or farm for a better set (no one got a perfect set yet, luckily, but some are really close to).
