nukes are amazing late game TvP, you're getting ghosts support anyways and for a mere 100/100 you get something that wastes a crapton apm and destroys rapes food. Works better on 4 player maps where you can div up a map and go 3+ base late game.

yeah, but most games dont get to the third base, when i have more than that i'd have like all upgrades+ max capacity...
sure you can nuke me, but most of the time i'd be killing your guyz& base(s) :>

also, i freak out about obs and have them everywhere lol

Nukes don't get to my base due to the millions of turrets I build with the left over minerals. That is if you're trying to drop off the Ghost inside my base. Outside has a few bunkers of marines. gl getting in. Sub bases I don't care since the millions of minerals I build more bases lift them off and quickly mine out that area(Have you seen how fast 20 Mules mine? That thing is gone instantly)

Alright,please correct me on my early game and what I'm doing wrong.

As Terran;

- Make SUV and send to Mine
- Make x2 SUV and make them build Extrators,they then both start gathering Vespene.
- Make SUV for Supply Depot
- Build Supply Depot then Barracks(--> Reactor for Mass Marines)
At this point I have Command Center,so I spam MULE and usually have 2 SUVs at both Vespene Gas.

Now this is where I screw up,what to make? I usually have 3-5 Siege Tanks in Siege Mode sitting at base. Also by that time I have a decent amount of Marines. Now with Starport I either go Mass Vikings or Mass Banshees.

Well for one you should make SCV's and not SUV's. I don't think sport utility vehicles will do you any good..


aynway

don't rush extractors
1-2 scv then barracks
then 1 scv
then supply depot
hopefully you're using barracks and supply depot to block
continue to make scv and an extractor
use an scv from either barracks or supply depot to scout
tech lab first
another barracks, make marines and marauders in bulk, upgrade them and get stim/hp/concussive
factory (dont make units from it), make reactor
starport, lift off factory and use its reactor for starport
medivacs (2 at a time)
inbetween all this, supply depots, SCVs, orbital command, if you notice through scouting you are ahead, expo.
use MMM (marine medivac marauder) ball to kill shit. Don't use a + click because you'll send the medivacs ahead...you'll have to click a lot.

Scouting and proper mobilization wins games when you're equally skilled.


edit

I've noticed people not rushing Extractors...I find it weird because you kinda need the Vespene Gas for Researchs and stuff.

What I do as terran right away is this

Build around 10 SCVs then build a supply depot(Usually this keeps enough minerals in flow to keep 1 in production while building future stuff)
Build a couple barracks
While ^ are building I start farming the gas
Upgrade command center(I use the specials for supply depots at the start. To save an SCV from building and using 100 crystal. Plus it's instant)

At this time I have enough reapers to rush. After I have like 6~10 reapers I rush and works 50/50. When they fail I quickly build bunkers and put marines in there with the upgrade of building defense and +2 for bunker room and attack dmg for foot units.

Pretty much after that I do w/e I want to. If I want lulz? Millions of thors. If I have enough gas and crystal? I build a shitton of starports for BC. Banshees is another good form of rush if they got cloak. Again this is another 50/50 chance for me to win. If they're smart they got a few turrets and ruined my sneak attack or detectors and anti air units.

Really depends on how much you like clicking. For me I suck so I build masses of a single unit lol. At times I'll build vikings and banshees to counter air and attack ground if not BCs lol

Word of advice. Don't take my strategy it sucks. xD

just curious what league are you in? If you want to do a reaper opening fast rax/gas is a lot better, also, mules are much better than drop supply by roughly infinity.

Also, nukes aren't, "oh look, I'm coming with my 1 suspicious medivac and nuking your main", it's, "you're pushing out to my natural? lemme just drop a ghost at your third and nuke it while my army pushes you back" It's a win/win, first it's hella cheap, 100/100 is nothing late game, and second you spend a lot less apm managing. You drop the ghost, make sure it doesn't fire, drop your nuke, fly your medivac back and now your opponent is freaking out. He's gonna be checking his bases and if he doesn't find anything he'll think it's on his army and retreat, free kills.

Obviously nukes are situational, mostly for LT, Kulas, and Metal if one of you doesn't cheese, cross positions. Other positions toss will probably go air on metal and LT, kulas they'll probably go one base push and the game doesn't go too long.

Nuke rush is pretty fun tbh. I like it alot on Kulas Ravine. Cause there i can expand pretty safely. (Up on that high ground blocked by the rocks) And i can just get a ghost on that high ground to nuke his main (if he hasnt got the high ground already offcourse)

My T build order:

Get to 10 SCV's (And offcourse keep on producing after)
Supply depot(mostly finished when 11th SCV is just finished)
Barracks
Refinery
Tech lab
Reaper (Rush with him)
Supply depot
Reaper (U will prolly have the resources to both make the supply depot and the reaper)
Reaper
Refinery
Baracks
Tech lab
(Get MM now)
Factory
Tech lab
Starport
Place starport at the tech lab
Banshee
Banshee

WIN

(This doesnt work everytime, but my reaper micro is pretty good. So I mostly get many worker kills, which kills his economy, and which gives me the time to get those banshees fast without making many marines and marauders to defend my base. I must say this works best vs zerg. Protoss sentrys and stalkers kill my banshees too fast imo. =( Zerg sometimes doesnt even have the anti air, cause they saw the reaper, and they prolly came in with zerglings after to counter my reaper build, and then he saw marines and marauders. So they dont really expect a banshee to come)

I also have other builds. But this is 1 of my favorites, cause its pretty much double cheese. XD

Oh my god never knew you could get "special" Supply Depot with Command Center. I usually just use MULE & "Free Sight".Also wonder who would ever go for Plantery Fortress instead of Command Center =O

probably temporary bases, incase one was too lazy to get units there :x

But M.U.L.E is more efficient however or at least imo. It easily collects more minerals than what you spend on supply depots, and you can use them on the gold resources rather than spending money on workers, and having to keep an eye on them

The attack fort isn't really good, but it's used against shit units. Decently effective until you zerg the place.

They said the map editor patch would be around the middle of the beta, so it's on schedule I guess. I just hope they fix all the issues people are bitching at right now (not balance issues, game play issues)

btw, 9 rax, 9 gas, 9 fact-tec, 9 starport is the best build against zerg, just saying.

I played a quick game in class today and I managed to rush win in 9minutes with 7 reapers lol. Sad part is the guy sent his troops in front of my base(I didn't know) until he attacked after I cleared his units. I had 3 starports and my base floating away then he raged even thought he couldve killed the base and my workers. Good stuff

It is banshee rushing, just the fastest banshee known to man. Yeah, you stay on 9, never build a supply depot and go straight for a banshee.

It is banshee rushing, just the fastest banshee known to man. Yeah, you stay on 9, never build a supply depot and go straight for a banshee.

In case you guys don't know, a little history. IdrA was the best foreign SC:BW player and practiced with a Korean pro team (as in he went to korea and lives in a house and plays SC all day) and was known to be very bad mannered, calling everyone a "Farking skilless noobie" and everything unorthodox cheese, that's why they're making a big deal =) Still the best build.
