Hey Guys,
Just thought i would post 2 games which look very interesting in terms of playability and game Design.
InfoJust look at that trailer, damn it looks sweet. Sure, it was live action, but if that is the type of game-play expected, it will for sure be a lot of fun. Cloaking, Droids, Shoulder Rockets. It seems like there will be a lot of different play styles in this game.
In the past, i haven't been the biggest fan of Ghost Recon, but they haven't disappointed really when you play the game. There is not much more info released on the game yet, but i look forward to more sneak previews and so on.
InfoA Whole nother ballgame. If you are much like me, who joined MW2 and is 2 things, 1 The run and Dash Sub-Machine gun Tacti Knife person, who 2 Despises campers, then this will for sure be a game that we will enjoy.
However, do not think that there is no jobs for those who like to be more direct, or even support. There will be a class system, that allows you to choose your gameplay, and also when creating your Character (which you get to fully, and i mean fully customize) you will also be picking what kind of play style you enjoy, choose a big musclebound freak with access to heavy weapons and more Armour, choose a smaller guy with more speed and agility, or choose a medium build for that all around feel.
All the movements in the Trailer, from what i have read will be performed ingame, (Minus the Tank dropping i dont know about that) through this new and revolutionary system called SMART. Smooth Movement Across Random Terain. Much like any FPS, when you get to a box, and you want to jump over or climb on top of it, you will be prompted to press a button, and go into a little cinematic of you jumping or climbing. This is not the case with SMART, everything around you becomes and obstacle or an assist. By facing your camera in the direction you want to go, and pressing the SMART button, you will tell the game that you wish to jump over, slide under or wall-hop. Some of the many new maneuvers that SMART allows you to perform.
A lot more information can be found on the website.
So, these are the two probably must have games for me, please leave comments or anything, more information or your take on it.
Regards,
