It'll be even harder if you solo those while you play online.
I believe the mobs have like 2x stats. Now if you play in the single mode thing, it'll be quite decent to fight them, and there's no need for so much suffering.

Try adding me whenever you get online. My IGN is Arin.
I'm playing the NTSC version.

btw if you need a site, related to MH3 stuffs. This one is the best http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Hunter_3 . Lots of info!

Might sound like a stupid question but, is this really Wii only?

Yep Wii only.

A few years back Nintendo Got Capcom to make some games for their console
only. Resident Evil 0, viewtiful joe + a few others were those games.

This was orginally due out of the PS3, but then Nintendo got it for the
Wii as the last of their Capcom exclusives.

If they didn't change match from MHFU, just keep at it till it goes to sleep (limp, in the caase that its a monster that doesn't go to sleep), then walk up to it plant a shock bomb next to it, and the mob should automatically trigger it, and just spam your traqs and it should be in the bag. Unless thats what you've been doing, if so I've really got no other strategy to capturing......I've always found youtube to be a good place for tips on quests/monsters.

Pretty much what John Doe said.

Just wait till he goes to sleep, use the shock trap and throw your tranquilizers at him. It doesnt ALWAYS work, but it does most of the time. GL.

ps: I just got the Lagiacrus set, looks pretty awesome!

Thanks :)

You meant the Real Ludroth?

As i posted before. The mobs are less hard in the single player mode. But you wont gain HR or anything.

At least you can farm whatever resources (like i did with the lagiacrus - killed him like 20 times, lol-) you need if you play offline.

How do you add someone to your friends roster without having their ID or being in the same city as them? And I just got a full set of Rhenoplos Armor and I look like a walking tea pot, its awesome! I should have my next hammer by the end of today. When do you usually play Amelie?

You sure can add people in the friend list, i've like 6 or 7 people in my list. But it seems like the person needs to be on in order to be added/found.

@satman. Barroth. lol.

I just killed the big Q bird thingy, was just as hard as it was in the demo. Hopefully soon I can kill those Barroth thingies so I can get the Barroth set of armor, so cool looking.

Anyone else find it maddening when you are playing online with someone
and they are just extermly shit (never block, dodge and always hits you
more then the monsters :palm: )

And as soon as they die and the quest fails they log off :slap:
i mean wtf? if you just log off/ turn off your console ever time you lose,
then what do you gain or learn? :palm:

lol yes! Feels like the biggest waste of supplies ever. I am pretty good myself, i dodge, i barely get hit, i hit the mob a lot. I even buff or heal sometimes the other 3 people.
But it gets on my nerves when the mission fails (doesnt matter if theres only one guy dying 3 times). I just hate the failed missions after you played very hard and wasted supplies on the mob.

Congrats on the Lagiacrus! But dont die anymore!

That's the set i mentioned i crafted a week ago. I love it. I also made a Barioth set, and now working to get an Agnaktor set. But that mob is quite hard.

I made it to Rank 27, but wont get online until i complete my agnaktor set, lol

That way i'll have a water set (lagiacrus), an ice set (barioth) and a fire set (agnaktor).

I'm doing the same with weapons, i've a switch axe (thunder), the Djinn fire sword (obviously fire), and i made that paralysis hammer for giggles.

Loving that game.

Me and 3 people just fought Jehn Mohran.

it was EPIC!!!

That thing is hugeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!! The battle itself is so movie-ish, i enjoyed it so bad!! You need to be HR 30 in order to get that urgent quest.

Code: Select all
Code: Select all
Code: Select all

My Hunter Rank is now 31!

Best game of the universe!
