Been waiting for this for ages, lol. Too bad I don´t play anymore.

Quote:
Jagex has announced that both the Wilderness and Free Trade have been returned to RuneScape. Developers indicate that players will now be able to give gifts to their friends, have access to unrestricted trade, and take part in the most dangerous sport in the whole of RuneScape: Wild PKing! In addition, the dev team will be introducing several other updates in February including a graphical overhaul of gnomes and reshaping the pottery making system.

To be honest, Runescape is one of the better games I've ever played. I'm not currently playing it, and I haven't been playing it seirously for more than one and a half year (if not more). It's a browser game, and yet it has so many functions. You'll never get tired of it (if you really start playing), as there is so much you can do, so many different skills to train, quests to do etc. etc.
Besides, if you're tired of all that you can try to forecast the tradings of tomorrow, and earn some gold that way around.

The reason why I haven't played it is because of the fact that I've pretty much played CoD and SIlkroad for the past year :)

exactly. runescape is the best game i've ever played. and by best i mean having the most fun during gameplay. however, the graphics really bothered me and as I was getting older the game began to look very childishly. so i quit it when i turned 13. but if they would bring out a Runescape with graphics like silkroad, i'd play the game every second of every f*cking day. i really don't understand why they won't do that. the game has enough fans and i'm sure alot of them are more than willing to pay for alot for the game.

Probably because not as many players could play the game if they had actual system reqs.

Does anyone know if they kept the Grande Exchange? That's one feature I liked about the "new" Runescape. I'd seriously play this game if I had more free time and Membership. There's just so much to do in this game. I never got member, but I remember when my friend let me go on his member account for a day... ran through the whole freaking map. Was jizzing at every click.

Yes, they still have the grand exchange. And yeah, if I didn't play Silkroad I might have considered taking a look at Runescape again.
