So I finally decided to buy a PS3, the main reason being playing with my friends, but I couldn't ignore the fact that it has some amazing exclusive games. I'm planning on buying a 320GB slim for roughly 285€ and all of the Uncharted and God of War games for an extra 84€~ish. (I know these games have next to no multiplayer at all except for Uncharted, but I'm waiting for MW3 since it's coming out in a couple months and buying Black Ops now would be kind of a waste.) First off, I'd like to know what you think of these prices, I'm ordering all of it from Amazon since in Portugal shit's Farking over-priced. Second, do you think that buying these games is a good choice, if not, why? Also, do you have any other suggestion for a must-buy game? Third, is buying the 320GB version worth it? What are your thoughts on it... Thank you

I got a 120gb and for me it's plenty, or maybe it's 160gb. Either way I don't think you will need that much unless you plan on saving every demo you ever download. Or you want to stuff it with movies/music etc.
Also when you buy from amazon, are you sure you get the right kind? UNTS/PAL and shit, are you sure you can hook it up to your tv here in europe.

It's from Amazon.co.uk and it's a HDMI cable so it should work...

I bought a 320 because it came in a package with infamous 2 and ended up cheaper as the 160 and buying the game separately. Pricewise it's around the same I paid in Belgium though I was lazy and didn't went looking for the biggest bargain but went for my local gamestore I usually go to.
I can't say anything about the games seeing I haven't played those.
Anyway a bigger harddrive is never a bad idea if you're planning to put some music on it and installing games on the HD should lower the loading time in games.
On a sidenote: usually the PS3 doesn't (well mine didn't) come with a HDMI cable so if you want to hook it up via the HDMI-port on your TV, you need to buy a cable unless you have a spare one at home.

I have SFIV and Naruto UNS2 on the xbox and I don't play them that much, I guess it's not my thing really...
MvC3 does seem interesting, I might get it if I find a good deal.
And yeah around here the 320GB version has better game deals...
I've decided to buy the ps3 in a local shop so that I get good support incase I have some problem, it's a little bit more expensive but safer in the long run.
And I do have a HDMI cable at home, I use it for the 360.
Thanks for the answers guys.

I;m with you. I haven't been using my XBOX360 lately because of work or HoN. Also, been going to GameStop almost once a week without anything new. Or in Amazon.

It's cheaper to buy a bundled PS3 with a couple games or buy the one that has the smallest harddrive and buying yourself a bigger one.
Games I suggest? If you don't like cutscenes, story, and i dont know what else to say for the third thing.. don't even bother with my suggestions. -MGS4 was a great game. I enjoyed it. Multiplayer? Meh -LBP2 don't bother with LBP1 when the 2nd one is better. It's a fun game with friends. Alone? Do not bother. -Portal 2 if you haven't even played it. It's a great game. -Uncharted series -inFamous 1 (Havent played 2) I enjoyed playing. It's a bit of a grind game in the first, but I hear the 2nd one is like night and day between the two. -RDR if you haven't played it. Loved it so much I even went to 100% the game. -God of War series is a fun game. -Gran Turismo 5 if you enjoy racing. Though many will argue with me, but don't buy this game if you're expecting something like an arcade racer. It's not. You're racing like how it is in well real life. It's great if you have one of the GT wheels -Pixel Junk series off PSN. They make wonderful games. Though Racer and Monster I never played. Very excited for Pixel Junk Retro.
And then there is Playstation Plus. Many will argue with me, but if you NEVER purchase games off the PSN then this is great. You pay $50/year and receive a new game every month. I've had it since it launched and I've enjoyed the majority of the games I have received. I think of PS+ as a rental service since you technically don't 'own' any of the games you receive besides themes, avatars, and shit you purchased with the discount. The longer you have been a part of PS+ the better it gets considering you 'own' more games.

Bought the 320GB + infamous 2 for 300€, I'm satisfied, couldn't have gotten a better deal, the 160GB + infamous 2 would be 290.
