SG,

We go back quite a bit, not as much as others in here of course. However, we shared our times together. I can’t remember if when I joined the mod team, you were still a mod, or had already become the admin, but I remember that I enjoyed serving with you. It’s been quite a ride with the whole team, those who have left us, and those who are still with us.
I remember the conversations the staff would have on MSN, the couple of times that we got on a vent server. It was all well worth it, and now I see you go. It’s a shame really, but one that I can completely understand.

You had an immensely important role in making SRF what it is today, and we owe you a lot. You sacrificed time, effort and even your account for SRF. You received threats from people who disagreed with you, and took much heat for actions which we all agreed were for the good of SRF. You stuck around through thick and thin, until the time was right for you to leave.
Know that for those members, who knew you from before that understood the contributions you made for SRF. You will be greatly missed.

We will continue to move forward with SRF, and still would enjoy it if you drop by anytime. With this, i take up the role of SRF Admin, and we will begin discussions to changes and amendments to the Mod team.

Your co-admin, your colleague, your friend.

~Key-J

People have been saying that for years. Its an element of nostalgia. Or seeing someone you liked get banned and thinking its all going downhill.

It's occuring just like global warming, even though people deny it. It is happening. ;)

Bye.

Agreed.

Greetings SG,

I'd like to express my gratitude towards the work you did here on SRF. You were always serious about things and you showed great determination. I've always looked up to you in a spirit of admiration. Though I do not know much about you personally, I can tell you have certain traits of character, that set you apart from the vast majority of people I know. I needn't say more than that, it's enough just to recall certain things from the past, for one to understand what I am talking about.

Thanks again. Working with you was truly a privilege.

Love,
Andrei.

Been a while jay. I have missed my time in the BHA. Some of the best times I ever had on this cursed game. Had I known you all had gone to trollsbain my gf and I would have gone there to join you all. As is we are on nazgrel enjoying wow as well. Hope you will not be a stranger as you are still wanted and welcome to visit here.

@at those claiming sg is a girl
The internet is not always the best medium to convey sarcasm so pardone me if I missed it. But jay is no more a girl than me. Or at least if he is his voice is lower than Dr. Girlfriend's voice.

Quote:
Your obvioussly not an oldie even you should know this. It would only end up becoming an argument on how SG admin the board. I disagree with a few things that SG did and made as much as others did and still do. Why would i need to go into detail when it's already up there in black and white. If you fail to see it please ask those that have contributed to the forums and then been banned.

I am an oldie and I am here. And as an oldie I can comment with some authority as to why most of the good contributing oldies have left. And most of them left long befor the eb section was made. In fact many left because there was not something like eb. Which is why I find it so funny each time you make these absurd claims.

Quote:
Most of them haven't left many of them were simply banned and exposed by other botters. Whether it of been rules violation or simply explained why they botted. Go into guides and tutorials and check the signatures of those posts made back in 2006 and 2007 many of them are made by banned members.

Those are who contribute to this forum and provide tips and tricks to the game we once knew.

Those that find satifaction in the banning of another bot are more then likely bots themselves. I've seen countless people in EB that are now banned but have "BEFORE" exposed a bot.

The thing to remember is that the mods don't ban people. People get themselves banned. The mods just enforce the rules.

Quote:
No, People don't get themselves banned. unless your a dumbass trying to figure out why your loader or bot doesn't work. When we signed up for this forum back then the rules never indicated we would be banned if exposed as a bot. It simply stated we would be banned if we promoted bots on this forum. The revised rules made about exposing a bot was made without notice before hand.

Those that deny that bots never contributed to this forum are wrong. You idiots sucked NB ass and she ended up being exposed as a bot herself.

So if details is what you want i always have the PM button. Otherwise i simply stated that i never agreed to some of the policy's made by SG.

The fact that the hole 'forum is dying' is brought up when someone leaves well its the same as Global warming. Every time an ice capsule breaks off we here about it and we get the hole Global Warming is the source.

We know it's happening we are telling you how to prevent it. It's not a case of saying hey let all the bots back! It's the fact that we know SRO has 98% of botters. The people that do actually come here and contribute should be allowed without being exposed by another bot.

SRF simply doesn't agree that they've lost a war that cannot be won. They have nobody to look up to like 'Joymax' that proves that it is making changes to prevent bot access. Because JOYMAX is doing NOTHING to prevent bot programs from accessing the game.

As for those that ask for why do i care about this well because i was a former SRO player myself and love to check out new posts but, i simply came to realize that 98% of SRO is bots.

I'm an oldie too! Well maybe I haven't been here quite as long as you, but I did join in 2006 :) It's funny how so many people used to complain when there wasn't an EB, and after it was created, often the same people complained about it. I guess we're only supposed to ban people we don't like, instead of people who break the rules? :?

@SuicideGrl: It's sad to see you go, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. You've done a LOT for these forums, and often times with so many people flaming you for it. Of course you can't please everyone, but in the end, you've done a GREAT job leading the team to run these forums. I know you will be missed. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do after this.
