Google Chrome theme HELP!

Well, I loved the google chrome themes, but one day I logged on, and it wasn't there anymore.
I thought "no biggie" so I went and I got a new theme. Well it doesn't work? It says theme installed, but it doesn't change to the theme!

Delete Chrome.
Reinstall Chrome.
Reinstall theme.

update google chrome
download the theme in *.crx
run that file

How do I update, i checked the instructions and in my about part, it didnt say update?
I tried downloading crx, it says its installed, but nothing happens.

go to About of Google Chrome, it will check if your app is up to date or not
