Is Piercing Force Series worth getting for Full STR char?

I'm lvl 70, fully farmed in Spearmanship and Fire. I was wondering if the Piercing Force Series is worth getting. I know that last book increases magical attack by 16%. If I max out this skill, will it only increase my fire Imbue damage by 16%? Or is it some other percentage that is calculated otherwise? Remember, I'm full Str/Glavie...so the only "Magical" attack I have is from my Fire Imbues. All other attacks are purely PHysical.

Nope...i meant magical damage, versus physical damage. Fire Imbue is the only source of magical damage.

Some are saying no, not on a pure strength, on my Hybrid, I do use it, and its nice...
