plus, there's not really anything else to say, i'd say it sucks that people can't take an opinion, but i understand the urge to be a defender, so it's all good.

I gotta agree with IceCrash. She isn't really nice, she's rude.
I know it's a hard job to being an Administrator of the Board but still, you can be friendly or at least pretend it to be. And still having the guts to press the ban button.

I personally haven't voted for Ruyi, because to me what it looks like, is that when she closes a topic, she feels GREAT being able to put the last word in, and often in a rude way.

RuYi is not mean or rude, she is very nice to talk to 1 on 1 actually. Someone has to be the stickler otherwise there wouldn't be a balance on the mod team, that's how i see it anyway.

I'm not saying she isn't a nice person, I'm sure she can be. Then again everyone has a nice side to them, even Hitler had a nice side to him. But there's really no need to be so abusive, it doesn't look good for the forum, especially to new people who have just joined. It's unprofessional imo, that's all.
