It's going to end up as several powerhouse conferences... I like it.

Some sort of playoff system is what they need.

A&M has an 18 point lead at half today... blows it again. Un-Farking-believable.

Picked that one woo!

Also, good job Badgers! I hate Nebraska...

Only sliver of hope I have left is the fact A&M has only lost 1 conference game. There is a glimmer of hope. Also looking forward to the UT game, as always. God we look so good in the 1st half. I'm still in disbelief.

OU v UT may turn out to be ugly... I thought UT was starting to get their team together, but inexperience is shinning through.

Big game predictions:
OU > UT
LSU > Florida
Arky > Auburn
A&M > Tech :P
NB > Ohio St but worried they won't cover the spread.

How many times can I bump my own thread before it's considered dead? :P

A&M finally put 4 quarters together, 21 unanswered to finish the 2nd half, I thought they were incapable of double digits after the break. No brag, they looked GOOD! Best part of the game was when they put up a TAMU football promo on the gumbotron during the 4rth quarter and at the end it had the TAMU and SEC logo side-by-side. Stadium went nuts! (incase nobody has been following, BU was the school holding up TAMU's move to the SEC.)

Pic from game because pics make threads better:

Image

Any BCS NC predictions? I say OSU or TAMU beats OU and kicks them out of contention. This leaves LSU/BAMA deciding game to play.... ? OSU? The badgers? I say BAMA v OSU :O BAMA wins.

I don't see them losing either, but I don't see OSU losing as well. As it stands I think OSU's SOS is above the Badgers. It's going to be an interesting finish. I just hope A&M gets a decent bowl and can actually win. They're good at getting to bowls, just not finishing.

SOS at the moment:

#2 A&M
#7 LSU
#12 OSU
#15 Bama
#30 Wisconsin

:S

Well, can't say I expected Wis or OU to lose today, but I did pick Tech and MichSt to cover the spreads. Damn the day ended with some good games.

A&M won, as was expected, at Iowa St, but it looked like a walkthrough practice. Bad execution, uninspired, bleh. Hopefully it's just because of IowaSt and the fact they have a nice challenge with Mizzou next week, overlooking ISU.

Taking OSU out of my NC pick. They are beatable and will lose at least one game before it's over, maybe even two. Bama or LSU is a lock. Who will they play? I have no freaking idea.

Watching the replay of the last play of Wisconsin game, I honestly don't think the football broke the plane of the endzone. So pissed now.

I am so disappointed in the Badgers, 2 very winnable games in the last week, and they blew it. So much for people thinking they should have more respect in national rankings. I think their early season success went to their heads.

A&M doing what they do best. Get a double digit halftime lead then allow the other team to rally back in the 2nd half. I was beyond sick at the game... worst play calling in the history of mankind. A&M is fielding the best offense in school history and the dimwit coach doesn't know how to take advantage of it. I feel sorry for the players. The good, I wore sunscreen this time and didn't get burnt...

In other news: What the hell Texas Tech!?!?!?!?! Never have I ever...

i'd probably be participating a whole lot more if ohio state wasn't having a depressing season since way before it even technically started.

in the interest of getting this threads post count up a bit, did ok st end up losing? when i last saw it was close.

i bet my friend (a&m fan) ou would put up 50+. so close :soosad:

Bama's kicker lost them the game. Not once, but 4 times. Had he hit any of the 4 field goals he missed the game would have been over.

Rallied back to win 52 - 45.

The A&M/OU game was 13-10 at half... then A&M did what it does best, blow it. 4 turnovers this week and 3 last week. Hard to win with a TO margin like that.

Bama's kicker may be on suicide watch.

OSU can still win the Big 10. Penn St just has to lose 2 of the next three, with one being OSU. OSU would win all tie-breakers at this point. Considering the next three teams Penn St has to face, I'd say the chances are good that OSU makes it to the Big 10 championship game.

doesn't seem right that he can legally do everything required but get ousted anyway. he's a head coach not a PI. it's up to the higher ups he told to take action from there. IF they uncover he knew more than he's told, then yeah crucify him. currently it just looks like penn state trying to cover their asses.

^would be pretty cool to see osu in the first big 10 championship game, but i don't know. maybe the extra turmoil surrounding happy valley will help us out. the game in ann arbor will be tough even if we can beat psu however.

Paterno didn't go to the police. Firing him is the correct thing. Along with everyone else who knew and did nothing.
